Make all cosmetic items purchasable by donor points.

Yup, I would agree that every single item classified as "purely cosmetic" should be purchasable with donor points. Anything cosmetic is not pay to win.

 

Or you know...just a vote a few times and you will have beauty coupons, effects and throwing stars

 

You don't donate to get new items. You donate to help the server stay alive and grow.

Cosmetics are just like clothes so whats the diff?

 

Cant tell if you mean making all items in 1) cashshop purchasable with vote NX or 2) making all items in cashshop purchasable with donor NX.

Donor exclusive NX is there as a fun thing for donators, theyre cheaper to buy than regular NX clothes. It makes donors visible to the player population and helps show appreciation from the server for the support

Its obvious that making all items bought with donor NX would make it Pay -to-win which Legends is against.

EDIT: Eitherway I do think throwing stars should probably be added to possible things to buy with Donor points.
I have mentioned hair/eyes/skin coupons to Kim and I believe its a suggestion that has been rejected - possibly for the fact that it can take someone 50k vote nx to get the hair they want (which is a huge advantage if you just buy the 50k donor pts)

Well ap resets and gach aren't cosmetic items.

 

He means that they can just use their Vote Cash on Gachapon or AP Resets etc. and use their donor points for their cosmetics

 

Not all items. All cosmetic items. Which is a huge difference. This distinction is clearly made in the thread's title and OP ffs.

I made this suggestion because I had been a victim of cruel chance, and spent about 56 tickets (over 117k nx) just to get the hair I wanted. It seemed many players were in agreement with me, however, some certain people did not like the idea.

In particular, here are some relevant quotes from the naysayers:

Donations are also meant to be exactly that, donations.
If your only purpose is to pay until you get the hair you want, you arent donating anymore. Youre basically buying the hair.

Why don't you all put your money where your mouth is and from now on give nothing for donations, since in fact they are supposed to be "donations" and nothing more.

So why do we lecture people who financially keep the server alive, but all the people who vote and complain about "unfairness" and "pay2win" get a free pass? Again, it's not about the items. Or is it?

If we're only supposed to be voting and donating from the goodness of our heart and support of the server and we shouldn't be getting anything for it except a better community and a server without financial doom and gloom, I'm all for that. Just take away all incentives like vote cash and donor points. It would be a brave new experiment and I'd respect that.

But if you want to give little rewards for voting and donating, well, you're opening pandora's box because now we get into debates like these where people think of only the items.. or potential items even, and feel jealous.

Also, not everyone has 12 hours a day of free time. I'm consistently working 50+ hours a week and little free time. And when I do bother to log on and grind a bit on maplestory, I'm practically falling asleep.

So yeah, I get it. Not everyone has a job or their parent's credit card. Tough shit.
Cause not everyone has the luxury to even play.
