Hello everyone. I hope everyone safe and healthy during this devastating time of despair. My misery has been uplifted by the thought of being able to play my childhood favorite again on a MacBook Pro! I never thought this was possible and began to give up on my thoughts of ever being able to play again but was proved wrong. I followed all the proper instructions to download MapleLegends. Unfortunately, I was left at a dead end when I was informed that my MacBook Pro 2019 was the most updated version and was unable to to run MapleLegends. It advised me to contact the programmer but I am unable to find contact information. I am not the best with technology so I have turned to the supportive forums section. I'm reaching out to the MapleLegends community and advisors for help. I'm just a sad gal in quarantine trying to relive her nostalgic childhood memories through the adventures all my friends are able to experience. Thank you for your time and consideration! Hope the game is able to be updated for the newest MacBooks :) And once again, please stay home everyone! Much love from Queens, NY.

Apple disabled all 32 bit support with Catalina, and old school maplestory runs on 32 bit. This is impossible for us to fix.

I heard wine, our container for mac version, was trying to implement 32 bit support, but it's not a thing as of now. Do note that even if they manage to do it, it still doesn't guarantee that we can make MapleLegends work on Catalina.

If you want to play, you're going to have to look into VM machines running Windows or older Mac versions, or dual boot, but we don't provide support for either.

Deleted poll because there's nothing to poll on.

It's not possible for the dev team to make ML work on Catalina.

What you can do instead is bootcamp your macbook so you have a windows partition, and run ML on that partition.

This is the reason why I still don't updated my mac to Catalina because everything and not only MS doesn't work pretty good with it. I mention that people still on High Sierra can't play Gunbound (although it was possible with Gb Canada) . I tried on my macbook's sister bought in 2011 with High Sierra, the Gunbound Application says it can't run because the version of its mac is incompatible

Edit : Mojave rules such Snow Leopard did before
