    Selfishly I want more channels because gs2 is packed :(

    But it'd be nice to have more bosses spawn too :D

    thoughts?

    I think we should add more channels for specific training spots only (not sure if this is possible)

    Prepare for server to die like every other server that add 20 channels with only 30 users.

    Too many channels without its users make the server look empty. Not always having access to all maps (or PQ's) due to user's using them was part of GMS.

    i see your point.. just consider mine :)

    20 is a big jump from 8.

    We have more than 30 players.

    I wonder though, why does more users make a difference? I am a noob at this stuff so if its to difficult to explain, please dont waste ur time haha.

    I don't think it is possible to add more channels for just a certain map. Aren't there other options for training places besides GS2 anyways?

    Moving to rejected for the time being. More channels uses up more RAM (more maps, more mobs), which we cannot really afford at the moment for the purpose of longer uptime. Likewise from what I can tell the additional channels are often not used regularly besides for a small group of maps (popular training grounds; additional bosses). Usually there only somewhere between 10-20 players per channel on 3/4 at any given time. We started with 2 channels, added the 3rd after 125, and added the 4th after 225, so somewhere around 300 and after a server upgrade, a 5th channel would probably be considered.
