ChewChew - Thanks for creating this spreadsheet.

Question: Does the "Goal HP" include HP that a character would have from their equipment? For example, looking at your "HP Wash Recommendations" a Night Lord with 7.700 HP at level 155, would they have more HP on top of that from their gear, putting their true HP at 8,500-9,500?

I'm referring to gear such as (source):
    • 100 hp from Ellin ring
    • 100-300 hp from pet equip
    • 100-1000 hp from Monster Book ring
    • 300 hp from Mark of Naricain

Without the equips. As in, your base HP prior to equipping anything.

I'm calculating that an Assassin can get 20,000 hp by level 180 with 3.2m NX by only leveling up INT, standard HP Washing, and then resetting their INT. Does that seem right?

Yeah, but be aware of the incoming patch that gives another method to reach higher HP.*
I dont recommend HP washing anymore.

Eeeh atm Assassin's are only getting 12k for the alt method. 20k goals are much higher than Challenge quests will give atm, and I doubt they'd change drastically over the next few years. Might as well shoot for the stars if you've got the NX

I know. I just dont think its worth it overall. If you have it laying around, including the equips, then sure. But otherwise, no.

Your statement needs some additional information, so I went and did the calculations myself with the same calculator.

Assuming no int equips whatsoever and MW20 starting from lvl 10, a lvl 180 NL would have 4,403 base HP.

Scenario 1: You pump in 300 Int ASAP.
Your character is basically crippled until lvl 59.
By level 180, you would have enough MP to do 416 HP washes by just levelling up with that base INT and MW20.
That brings your base HP up to roughly 11,891.
    You are still short of (20,000 - 11,891 =) 8,109 HP.
In other words, even at 300 INT, just levelling up and having MW20 won't be enough to get you enough MP to get 20,000 HP.
Assuming an average of 18 HP gained per wash, you would need an additional (8,109/18 =) 451 washes.
This additional washes will need to be funded by (451 x 12 =) 5,412 MP.
You would have to get this additional MP by MP washing.
With 300 INT, you would net ((300/10)-2 =) 28 MP per MP wash.
To get 5,412 MP you would need to MP wash (5,412/28 =) 194 times.

In summary, you will need to:
    a. Pump 300 INT until lvl 59.
    b. Maybe HP wash a few times along the way.
    c. MP wash after you have 300 Int, 194 times, or (194/5 =) 39 levels worth of AP. (current level = 59+39 = 98)
    d. At this point, you are done MP washing. You now only have to hold onto your 300 INT until lvl 180 to get 20,000 HP.
    e. HP wash a total of (416 + 451 =) 867 times, or (867/5 =) 174 levels worth of AP.
This is technically not feasible as you only have 200 levels worth of Fresh AP, which is why I recommended spending some MP first to HP wash a little in step b.

This is also a very conservative calculation, so you may have more HP than I calculated if you hold onto your INT until lvl 180.

My own calculations have projected that the optimal amount of Base INT needed to reduce waiting time as much as possible is actually 360 INT.
With 360 INT, I would be crippled all the way to level 70.
I would have base HP of 4,403, with enough MP to wash to 12,881 base HP at level 180.
    Therefore, I would need:
    20,000 - 12,881 = 7,119 additional HP
    7,119/18 = 396 additional HP washes
    396*12 = 4,746 additional MP
    4,746/(36-2) = 140 MP washes.
The number of HP washes needed would theoretically remain the same, but I've reduced total amount of NX needed by (8*3,100 = 24,800.) Very minor increase due to the diminishing returns you get from INT past 300. In fact, once you hit 380 or so, you would need more APR to reset the INT than you would gain from reducing number of MP washes.

If you're willing to go the extra mile(which most NL's looking to go that high are), you can also factor in MP washing before you reach your 300 base.

It's gonna cost you a lot more NX but you also hit your MP target at a lower level, which means you hit your HP target at a lower level, which means you get to play a little bit sooner. But you basically double your NX consumption during that time for what only amounts to (15 +total INT/10) +(5 ×(10 +base INT/10)) -60.

So assuming you don't have any int equips, 150 base INT, you're gaining 15 +15 +(5 x25) -60, or 155-60, or 95 MP per level + fresh MP wash, for what basically amounts to 2 levels(since you only see an extra 1 MP per 10 points in INT).

I had a spreadsheet for it but honestly the whole thing is a mess, I'm just gonna remake my whole spreadsheet. There's a point where it's most worth to start doing that, but I think that's basically after you're 30. But again, you're spending 5 AP resets worth of NX per level for this method, pretty early on.
