Airplane mode good or bad for phone?

    Will switching on/off airplane mode frequently damage my phone/ reduce phone lifespan, affect signal strength?

    I couldn't google this question, most googled context are talking about turning on airplane mode at night when going to sleep, but in maplelegends we are talking about switching on/off every 10seconds, and doing it regularly everyday.

    Any tech expert advice is appreciated. Thanks

    No it doesn't damage your phone. It just turns off the signal and turns it back on. It's what the phone is designed for.

    I see I see. I asked this question because I vote for 10 accounts daily, not sure if the phone is designed for turning on/off airplane mode that many times SlimeXD

    No technical expert, but it does tax my battery like crazy. And over time batteries decay, but in the bigger picture I doubt its a big deal unless your phone is already on life support.

    If the phone is already on life support, I won't feel any pain and will just continue to abuse it.
    I have more concerns and hesitate when comes to brand new phone cuz you know it's like my baby SlimeSweat2

    Talking about battery decay, now I charge my phone like twice a day. Dang those service provider just want our money argghhh

    The most that can happen is it'll drain your battery as you do it (not damage it forever). Perfectly safe.

    Think about it like when you're opening and closing a door often. eventually the hinges will wear out but thats just normal wear and tear nothing will be perfect forever.

    most phones these days are stress tested to last billions of movement so i doubt that you turning on and off airplane mode 10 times a day will have a major effect.
