Beginner dk farming arc session 1


I farmed for 2hr 4mins today and got about 32 gacha and 9850 nx.

So got about 15.48 gacha and 4.7k nx per hour. I was also duoing 5-6 on the side while doing this with another player to self leech our attackers, so my efficiency is probably not the best. Anyways, on to the description / guide of the strategy:

Purple plains 1 strategy Requirements:
5x DK (with stance) and 1x mage.
Sweeper mule with 3x pets

Optional optimizations:
Make the DK beginner dk (no longer possible as of february patch) for less potion consumption.
Make the 1x mage a bishop with 30k mp and level 1 genesis for the least potion use.
Get a silver mane mount on the sweeper along with avoid gear so that most of the mobs miss you. Aim for at least 140 avoid (should be easy with zakum helmet + HTP and decent avoid gear).

Strategy:
Arrange the DK and mage as shown in below screen shot.



Cast ultimates on each character, but not as soon as the mobs spawn. You need to wait a bit after the mobs spawn to cast the ultimates. The reason for this is because the DK do not use auto pot upon using roar. So if you roar, your pet will not heal you. In order for you to cast your next roar, you need your pet to use a potion.

The key to getting this to happen is to let a monster hit you, so that your auto pot triggers. If you kill the monsters as soon as they spawn, you won't give the monsters enough time to hit you and your pet will not heal you. For beginner DK i recommend using barbarian elixir (heals 1500 hp) and setting auto HP to 55% or using supreme pizza (heals 900 HP) and setting auto pot to 75%. For normal DK i recommend using hornster (heals 60% HP) and setting auto hp to 55%.

For mp you can use anything, it doesn't really matter. In terms of cost per hour, the beginner dk would use 6*60*1000 or 360k meso per hour with supreme pizza (they cost 1k each).

The normal dk would use 3*60*4200 or 756k meso per hour with hornster (you can cast 2 dragon roar with 1 hornster).

So the beginner dk advantage in this scenario is that it uses slightly less than half the pot cost with supreme pizza, its not that large so there is no problem to do this strategy with normal dk.

So in total with the 6 clients, you can expect to spend around 2.5m per hr in pots with beginner dk + bishop, or around 5m per hr with regular dk + bishop. You should still profit significantly via a lot of gachapon and nx.

 

Farmed another 1hr 56 mins today, and got better RNG on the nx.



I am at 15.5 gacha and 5.4k nx per hour so far.

As far as mesos go, this strategy seems below average. However, the amount of nx gained is pretty high. I would strongly recommend this strategy to a player looking to finish their HP wash, especially since our events no longer seem to award AP resets.

 

Farmed another 2 hrs today



I will be trying out a small change in char position tomorrow, and see if it does any better. Got more gacha today than last few sessions.

 

If you were willing to adapt and get use to the new changes, I would say that overall viability is not impacted. You can still make the same mesos per hour, but you do have to spend a lot more effort.

With the price of 8 attack 5 slot gloves shooting to the moon (last sale in free market was 2.4k coins, and the ones before that were around 2.6k coin), I have found that it is technically profitable to chaos scroll 3 attack 6 slot brown work gloves.

Technically in the sense that if you were to scroll thousands of gloves and were able to sell at the current market price, you would end with a profit. However, in my case, since I will be scrolling relatively few gloves, and due to the extreme variance of chaos scroll RNG, it is up in the air whether I will profit or lose a ridiculous amount of mesos in this endeavor.

Regardless, I will be attempting to chaos scroll a 8 attack 5 slot brown work glove, and I will post my attempts as a pseudo journal. I am not sure if I will even be successful, as I may give up before I scroll a 8/5. But, with this out of the way lets start with attempts #1 and #2.
