Allowing Meso bought Charms, Owl, Mega and others

That's not my point. If you remove easy access to mechanism to discover prices, you're essentially going to reduce price discovery as right now a large population of the server has access to perfect information if they so desire. By removing that access, you're putting the game in the favor of people that are playing the market game and probably have a bunch of mesos from being rich merchants. Your solution thus hurts people who play the game more casually by essentially making items more expensive, while letting rich people that have more items and mesos and benefit from larger "economies of scale" while selling items (if i have 100 scrolls that cost 300k a 600k owl is def worth it to check prices), making the rich richer and poor poorer. The net effect that i imagine is that you're deleting mesos from the poor and adding mesos to the rich, which will probably drive up prices even further for certain items ("purchasing power" considered). I don't like this solution because it directly impacts market mechanisms that are responsible for setting prices.

Also, you don't really have any justification for telling me how to play the game insisting I do something that is time consuming and is really unpopular (there's not that many people that agree with you here). If I want to play mushroom game casually let me play the game casually. You should come up with a solution that does not disproportionately hurt people that play the game in different ways. Imagine being an oddjobber that needs weird equips. This solution now makes that group of players need a bunch of mesos to even find what they're looking for in the first place.

I think the point being made here is that NX sinks are just as important if not more important than meso sinks because NX sinks are necessary to incentivize voting. Voting on mule account literally pushes this server up faster as fewer people can contribute more votes.

 

I was pointing out that the value of Owls is justified to buy them even while still saving up for APR's. It applies to just about every item since NX is free. NX being free means the only thing you're limited to is time, whereas if you were to make it(say, 600k mesos a pop), just to compare prices, most people would either factor in that amount for a single item or for multiple items. So if you find out an item one week is actually 400k, you'll end up feeling like you wasted money just to sell an item. If you use NX then you don't have to consider tossing an item because it doesn't meet the 601k threshold--assuming someone would even be okay making 1k profit off just discovering how much an item is that, given that it sells at all.

what about reducing the price of owls by about half? this would allow people to grind for a bit, pick up some nx cards and valuable drops, then use the owl to price their items properly before selling them. i think the price should be based on approximately an hour of solo grinding worth of vote cash.

Btw for most ppl here, main acc must always lack NX due to hpwash or mpwash reason at any point. Even if half the price for owls, we will never buy it on main(dropped NX picker) but voting-mule.

EDIT: real talk though the voting sites themselves limit it to 1 per day so i can only do it on two accounts; once on my phone and once on my pc. my vpn is blocked by both sites though

 

on PC, you can try restarting your router, and on mobile you can try going airplane mode for 15 sec. Usually it will force your ISP to give u a new IP address

 

It takes a little time(sometimes) to turn the Titanic around vote depending on how many accounts you have, but generally you can get the first two out of the way quickly by doing wifi, then data, then airplane mode on>off and repeat as many times as you have leftover accounts.
