Low Buddy List Party Chat Bug

Description of the bug: When you "disable viewing" of someone in your buddy list, you will not see their friend chat messages (orange text) as intended, but you will also not see their party text (purple) when in a party with them.

What is supposed to happen?:It should disable the friend chat (orange text) but will not disable the party chat (purple text).
Where did you find and/or notice this bug?:
After my long time in game friend asked me why im not responding to her party chat messages (we were in a party doing quests).
A step-by-step guide to re-producing this bug: That's easy, disable the viewing option in your buddy list, like shown in the image above, get into a party with a buddy and tell him to send you messages in your party chat.
Extra information:
I raised this issue in discord's support chat and was told it's a serious bug and that I should make a bug report.
