Corsair Main Appreciation Thread

I don't believe in that "you convinced me" talk. Just like Deus Vult is a feeling that compels paladins to be paladins, you have to be born with the Gun Vult the call from within the heart to use a fire gun

• Why did you choose to be a Corsair Main?: I chose corsair because it was a relatively independent class (no hard requirement on se/si) and had exceptionally high single target DPS. I always thought (or hoped perhaps) that a skilled corsair could defeat any nightlord - though I no longer believe this is the case due to the direction maplelegends took with respect to balance changes.
• What type of content do you enjoy running with your Corsair?: I run pink bean once a week and then level up the timeless pendant i loot during the run via HT or some other content.

  • Why did you choose to be a Corsair Main?:i chose Corsair as my main because it’s a class I had never really played before. After trying it out, I realized that it’s actually quite strong, even though it’s not very popular on our server, where a lot of people multi attacking and its Less comfortable.Still, I think the class is very fun and unique. I really enjoy its playstyle, and I hope to see some QOL changes in the near future
  • What type of content do you enjoy running with your Corsair?: In the past, before HP challenges existed, I played a regular Corsair and did CWK, Zak, and Krex. When I reached NT, I realized it wasn’t going to work, so I opened a new washed Corsair. Right now, I’m leveling additional characters so I can play them togther

• Why did you choose to be a Corsair Main?: octopuses and birds, my 2 favorite animals. Also this class gets two mounts.

• What type of content do you enjoy running with your Corsair?: so far I've only done papulatus, and it was fun running away from body 2, getting in some potshots, then ducking and running away again

• Why did you choose to be a Corsair Main?: I was a Captain(Corsair) main in MapleSea and when I started playing this server in 2019 that would naturally be my first character choice.
• What type of content do you enjoy running with your Corsair?: Neo Tokyo content mostly. But favorite past time was following Akash and GetSmoked forum post to improve my sair gameplay mechanics.

• Why did you choose to be a Corsair Main?: After surviving almost every content as a 13k sair up till level 200. I want to redo every content as a 30k sair.
• What type of content do you enjoy running with your Corsair?: Almost every content except zak. But my favourite right now is duo sair content in NT(Nameless and Oreblaze)

Our neighbors' admin plays Corsair, Kimmy is going to create one to show she plays better.

 

even tho i get used it to close combat for a long time and i not give up be close combat mapler yet. i still cheer for this job.
