I still hear about people getting randomly dcd by stuff... particularly in party quests. So what I was thinking would be very helpful is an @debug command!

Players simply type @debug to toggle it on, and then the server will begin recording the packets it sends to that player as well as the packets it receives from the player. Players type @debug again to toggle it off or, more likely than not, whatever is giving them trouble will just DC them.

In order to prevent abuse from a bunch of childish pranksters, a GM needs to log in the game before hand and enable it for a player. The GM simply types @debugenable <player>. Or something along those lines.

Edit: OR! Maybe this command can only be for GMs. They decide when to start/stop the packet logging. But that might be too inconvenient given timezones and availability.

We already know the issue (Error 38), we just don't know yet how to fix it.

Getting error 38 from the client really says nothing of the packets involved, though. The point of the suggestion is to help determine how to fix it. And it can be useful for solving more than one bug.
