Does soul arrow negate the attack bonus from attack arrows?

When you've got Soul Arrow on, you're not using any arrows, therefore you're not getting the weapon attack from any arrows.

 

I would have tested in this server if I had a 2nd job archer but I don't sadly. Ahh I was aware of this debate roughly a decade ago on the better days of Basilmarket, and yes turns out it don't stack in old GMS in the way that you described it.

I also play another private server MapleRoyals and have an archer there where I have tested and can confirmed that in THAT server it also does not stack. The damage did not inflate like it did back in old-GMS, it would just show the lower damage when you hit enemies, even though the attack range is unchanged with Soul Arrow buff on. Apparently there's some discussion about making it stack over there but from what I understand they need to modify the game to make it happen.

So with all that knowledge I would assume it does not stack here either, will assume some modification in the game for it to work.

But oddly enough, shadow stars keeps the attack bonus? Double standard! (sort of)

 

Because Shadow stars are supposed to consume 200 stars with that attack bonus, while Soul arrow uses no arrows, and therefore has nothing to gain the attack bonus from.

 

Plus it's a bug
