Macintosh Downloading MapleLegends on Mac.

    Hello

    I've been trying to make MapleLegends work on my Macbook. I've downloaded it, so that it lies in my "programs" folder. When I open it, it says that I do not have authority to do so - I've tried right click opening, and I've tried ctrl + opening it.

    Has anybody experienced this problem, and/or knows how to solve it

    Yeah go to > System Preferences > Security & Privacy
    then when you open the game, in that screen towards the bottom you'll see it says Maple story was blocked...
    you just press Open Anyway, For some reason it doesn't work right away, so I just keep spamming open anyway and re-opening maple, and eventually it opens.
    GL :p let me know if you need help making Maple on mac full screen.

    Altim: This doesn't work for me. I've got the security & privacy open. Then I open the game from my programs folder, and nothing comes up anywhere, I can't click it in the toolline either

    Can you show the exact error message? Does the icon show up in dock at all? Also, have you tried having the app on desktop instead?

    Try going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General tab. Under "Allow applications downloaded from", select "Anywhere".

    Well, I sat it to "anywhere" now. When I double click it and/or right click open it, it just bounces a bit in dock then disappears.

    It usually takes a long time for the app to start up for the first time upon a fresh download. I suggest you wait it out for a bit.

    I meant as in disappears, and then nothing

    Edit: I'll try opening it, and just giving it a good half hour.
