Expand Auf slots from 6 man to more than 6 man.

    At first I was in support of this change without questions, but after thinking through some of the consequences there need to be some adjustments to keep the balance the same.

    Auf gives a decent amount of coins for completion (100). Opening up the slots will make it a lot easier to mule coins. The extra slots also have a big impact on the fight because of auf's seduce mechanic.

    Lets imagine the cap is raised to 12 characters (up from 6).

    Auf seduce appears to target 4-6 players randomly. What would happen if you had a squad of 4 players, each multiclienting 2 mules for coins? Well, the seduce would only hit an attacker around ~40% of the time.

    So, if the # slots are raised, to keep the balance equal, the number of coins awarded for completing auf would need to be reduced, and the seduce mechanic would need to be reworked to keep its same effectiveness.

    What's the issue with seduce mechanics? Isn't it the same concept as ht? Bring more ppl, some can stay out of mass sed range. If you are stronger and more experienced, you can stick to the smaller squads because you can handle it.

    The issue is that it trivializes what is supposed to be a dangerous mechanic. The existence of Sed mules in HT is already a point of contention in the playerbase, and there is already a lot of pushback against further incentivizing mules. People talk about "mulestory" and all that, if we increase the expedition size limit people will absolutely abuse it for mules.

    Really? I always thought seduce having rules is great because it allows for teamwork and knowledge sharing. We see it as a muling issue because ht is a boss that has been 'found out'. I have not done auf, but if seduce is random, what skill is there to be learned? It just punishes low hp and low avoid players, don't see how that is a better mechanic.

    I mean I personally don't have an issue with muling, I'm just trying to give rationale as to why staff might be uncomfortable with it. The game is mule heavy as is already and adding more slots just further encourages muling in the fight.

    It'd be nice to one day do a piece of content that truly relies on player skill & teamwork instead of how many mules you can stack in a lobby.
