Failing my 11th Genesis 30

Well that and Gene 20 is generally not worth the mana cost to dmg ratio; generally -- most people can only 'almost' 1 hit with Gene 20 but certainly 1 hit with Gene 30; this puts them at a 'I wish I was only using Gene 10 because I can 2 hit with it for cheaper' sentiment. <3 just nugget of silly trivia~~

 

I swear to god percentages listed on those skillbooks are trap.

Not really gen30, but I've failed getting chain lightning 20 twice and 3 TIMES on CL 30.
Especially that CL20, it was pain in the butt to get hands on those since nobody in FM sells them so I had to farm squids for 4+ hours for it to drop one.
I repeat. ONE. UNO
Fortunately Hyoon came in clutch and I was able to buy one from there and pass, but MAN it was frustrating.
Add that with the fact that I also failed CL30 three times. This one wasn't as bad since I could find one at FM/donation from my guildmates
but the odds that I failed 3 a row in (supposedly) 50% chance makes me question whether the code behind it really does work as 50%.
Sure, RNG is still RNG and there will always be a chance to not work even at 99% success rate, but the odds that I have experienced from myself and others does not seem to add up much.

If I could have borrowed my same luck as landing two 30% and three 50% a row in regular scrolls, I think I could have earned billions by now
