Fast travel possibilities?

i remember back in the day we had family systems where we can teleport to a family member, any plans to implement this?

 

I agree there’s a lot of interaction on the boat rides, but then again it’s still a time waster that keeps players playing.

My main concern is for things like GPQ and CWKPQ, imagine if you are trying to organize a run but everyone have to take 30 minutes of boats to get there, at that point some people would just skip the group activity in favor of saving time.

 

true, i forgot that when i was making this since when i played gms i didn't have much nx to use so never spent any on the teleport rocks

 

Also just from my limited experience with boat rides: the player base is too small resulting in 1 person rides most of the time so the social aspect is only good in theory, we just don’t have the population for it to be the case in practice.

 

You could still ride it if you want to?

The most practical use of it for us back in the day was allowing easier access to pq areas. GPQ and CWKPQ was pretty out of the way from leafre and ToT, if you didn’t have a fast travel way people don’t want to ride a boat for 30 min, do a jq to run a pq for 30 min then trek back to where they were training at.
