Information February 2025 Balance Changes [Explained]

After playing few days I just wished to leave appreciation comment for 2 things changed my ML life.

1. Drk being independant on SI
Before update I usually just skipped(?!) SI on my drk went no buffs because of laziness and not sticking on timer too much, so patch impact came way bigger on myself. Not being stressful for missing a buff was really awesome, thanks!

2. Slow affects on bosses
Was greatly helpful for helping MM friend pinning pirate, by muling a mage for 'slow mule' on pirate, this gave her so nice quality time for cwkpq, and I started to feel lesser guilty for asking her to join my cwkpq. thank you!

How about the discrepancy with classes with iframes like buccs and shads?

 

I don't think you can "abuse" with afk gameplay too much if you want to make the most of iframes, otherwise, every melee job can tank the body to escape

 

Make all "misses" and iframe skills proc a 50% chance of using a pot. Problem solved

(You instantly explode if u have no pots)

 

Just curios why Dragon's Breath not working on Boss?
Rush and Brawler skill both work on Boss but Dragon Breath can't.
MM doing cwk is so painful

 

i think they dont want SE being too useful, they want to leave some niche for warriors/bucc. i agree with you, i wouldnt be against dragon's breath working on pirate boss only and not other bosses, though that would probably be very custom

 

I'm keen to hear about the experimenting of changes to Archmages to increase their viability in Bossing Scenarios. I suggested Ifrit/Elquines + Ice/Fire Demon changes in one of my posts which will increase Archmage viability.

Mainly by allowing the damage over time skills to work on bosses would be nice. It's annoying when people see AM as just leechers and don't see their bossing potential.
