    The Good:
The cosmetics available for summer points were really great, both hairs and clothes. Unlike some people I do appreciate that there was a limited amount of items in this store, as that meant that I could get what I wanted and then not have to worry about it anymore, letting me put time into other aspects of the event rather than grind party points all month.

Raffle rewards were great overall ~

Boss PQ was fun and a great way to expose fake dps hahahahah. Gotta love whiting the fish on Mage.

    The Meh:
I know this is very commonly expressed, but the RNG nature of the MMF Dance stage wasn't fantastic. It didn't prevent me from getting the chairs I wanted though.

    The Improvable:
I really didn't care for temporary (maple leaf) and permanent (item box prizes / nx value of APR) character progress being tied to the same currency, when that currency had capped gains. I happened to roll a great leaf on my second try, so I feel like I got good utility from the Anni points. But it would be easy for a player to feel like they were sacrificing that day's gains by making the wrong choice, especially when most of those choices were ultimately gambles. Gamble for leaf stats, or box contents, or buy a crystal to gamble for item upgrade stats... It's hard to pin down what an Anni Point was "worth" as a result, if the player wasn't buying APR.

    The Horror:

I really liked this event, the theme was fun, I love festivals. I like the cosmetics. I even grinded on the last day to get 100 coins to get the MMF ring. woo hoo 2 att. I like that the raffel was not busted and could only be done once a day.
I didn't play everyday or feel overwhelmed by event options. I liked to see the new chairs arrive as i visit the free market.
I was not a huge fan of the dance event or where the stage would kill you lol, that event got me everytime.
I did like how easy it was to get coins and trade them in for cool stuff.
I wish This was an onging event, forever boss rush, but thats maybe too much.

Overall great event and thanks for hosting. you all rock!

    Piggybacking off my own idea-

To have 3 different types of BPQ, one easy, medium, and hard.

There is no level range restriction.

No moving from map to map, all just one map with boss respawning one after another. Rewards come with completion of the PQ.

Easy would include many of the just-created BPQ bosses but only just 1 of Pap or Pianus. Can include things like Headless Horseman and Capt. Latanica. Fewer rewards.

Medium would include bosses like bigfoot, crow, ToT bosses, Ravana, ending with something like Jiaoceng or Krexel. To spice things up, there is a timer before the next boss spawns. So kill the current boss before the timer comes or be forced to fight 2 bosses and so on and so on. Better points reward. (Kill the current boss and the timer goes to 0).

Hard would include stuff like Scarga, Pink Bean statues, Dunas bosses, or whatever host of bosses with couple hundred million HP. Same boss spawning concept. Great points reward.

Overall this would also entail an overhaul of what rewards are provided. Maybe things like coin pouches, clean slates, other kinds of scrolls, NX items and gachapon, a stronger, permanent Maple leaf, maybe facestompers and BWGs being the very most expensive.

Obviously these endeavors would take a much greater amount of time for people to complete if they choose medium or hard.

Also the BPQ lobby should be revamped and not just be a cramped single platform perion depression area lul

    My two cents

    1. As has been mentioned before make anniversary points (and any other 2nd tier points such that one) more useful enabling them to buy event pots (elixirs, att pots, transformation pots even!) You can make them untradable so that they wont become a source of direct profit or make them expire (infamous stew example). That way we wont be forced to exchange our points for merely cosmetic stuff that we will hardly use (I mean more than 1 set of cosmetics ofc)

    2. This may be unpopular or inconvenient for the staff but I gotta say it: I don't like merged events. I get they are a convenient way to release events and that the staff is working hard on behind-the-scene changes, QoL changes, balances, and so on... However it takes away the "personality" of each event and on top of that we are bloated with tons of content/mixed cosmetics. Would love to see each season/event have its own "vibe" again.

That's it from an old non-meta, sort of casual player.

Its simple, last year I was gaining exp and mesos and working towards the goals for my characters because I could raffle and grind my characters at the same time. It was complimentary to the way I already played the game, and I could go at my own pace. This year if you don’t do your raffles at the same time every day, you are missing out. You also have to remove yourself from the area you grind at to some random continent and come back if you actually want to play your character. It might be technically faster, especially if you multiclient raffles, but I’m not leveling up my character anymore, I’m doing something completely separate just for the event.

Also, the FM hoe portion of the event last year was amazing. It was a great reason to touch grass or switch gears after a long grinding session. Calling it a “waste of time” when you could do literally anything else but play that 1 client for 30-60 mins is a bit silly.

My only opinion fort he event is : The method for delivering maple weapons this year felt sub-par. The fact all warrior and thief weapons were locked behind the 2 most lucrative and inflated price base maple weapons, honestly felt really poor quality, and has resulted in limited to absolutely no further line maple items within those respective trees on the market.

I really liked this event. The events are always quite good and BPQ and the MMF were a lot of fun. I liked the selection of cosmetics available.

Some things from past events which I would have liked to see return:
    * Agent jumpquest/Florina Beach jumpquest
    * Kerning Net Cafe
    * Ice cream face slot items
    * Fishing event
    * Ice chests with potions (would've helped new players out with the pot cost changes)

Stuff I didn't like so much:
    * Jamming two events together leads to a confusing experience with too many dailies. I think everyone would rather have a separate anniversary and summer event.
    * Having to use Magic Claw to farm points efficiently was frustrating and tedious.
    * The anniversary event boxes seemed unrewarding/low value.
    * Maple daggers were non-existent.

First, I want to say thank you for all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make these events possible and the effort to keep the community happy is always top tier to me, in my opinion.

Now for the event changes and concerns.

    Anniversary event:

This event I always get really excited about. This event is just notalgic every time due to maple weapons and the overall celebration of Maple and maplelegends in general.

The coins were very easily obtainable from farming to bossing and even grinding. No issue there, however, I found using the coins for limited rewards a bit frustrating, and after a while, there was no use for them. Now, that comes from me not being too big on cosmetics or pets, etc. I would have liked there would have been the option to use the Anni points as part of the raffle - I know that is a separate event on its own, but I felt that would have been more rewarding overall. As for the rewards on maple items, I felt there was a HUGE influx of maple bandanas... For me, I obtained roughly 20+ bandanas out of the equipment boxes...frustrating. I think the RNG should be tweaked for players to obtain at least lvl 35 weapons or even a shield for crafting purposes. Now with crafting, the overall price to craft with points was fine, but I think there should be an option to take a maple shield and craft and mage, warrior, and or thief shield by just using a maple shield and not the other way around.

Boss rush was fine, but my complaint came from the amount of weapon cancels pianus took upon our parties, thus resulting in expiring time and not fulfilling the points when they could have been fulfilled within a single run. I think this could be settled by adding 5-8 more minutes to the timer. I also think it would be nice to have solo and party runs not share the same two-run cap for the daily portion as it is impossible to complete a solo run throughout the entirety of the time provided.

The point exchange was fine, no complaints there.

    Summer event:

The summer event overall was pretty fun. The obtainability, rewards, and buffs were fine. However, the concert minigame was super frustrating. I think the layout of the map was fine but the time limit was far too long for you to dodge the objects without smashing your keyboard and throwing your monitor out the window lol.

Thank you staff for your hard work! Here to share what I liked and disliked or what I hope to see in future events~

    What I liked:
    • There was a lot of single cosmetic things to get!
    • The chairs are really cute this event!
    • I actually enjoyed the MMF concert, just the unavoidable 4-5 in a row feels horrible.
    • Boss Rush PQ is easy and quick to do and the Anniversary point shop all felt fairly priced.
    What I didn't like:
    • Coupons were priced so expensive (maybe cause I dress up so many characters every event) but I wish they were a bit cheaper maybe 100 for a coupon and 175 for the bundle.
    • More cosmetic sets!! The sets were really cute, I just wish we had a few more options!
    • Few hair/face options and no returning styles, I really wish there were more options and ways to get old styles! (I really like some old styles I missed let us vote on them T_T)
    • Raffles feels like a chore to do so I didn't bother after the first few days. I do like the raffle quest system, but I wish it was something similar to Summer2021 where we had an event cap on how many raffles we can do, but I do like the idea of the raffle quest! I personally feel like its a bit much of a chore to do daily and would like the option to do it whenever I can during the event.

Overall I do like the MMF theme of the event and found it very cute! I also liked that there was a pot vendor in the MMF map that sold good pots for good prices!

I'll outright say it. BPQ isnt good. The concept is fine, and works in a temporary event structure, but has glaring issues in both repeatability and party finding. This is the 2nd year time that BPQ has been released in recent years with no changes, and killing the same minor bosses in the same order. Population feels like it took a hit as well compared to last year, and not surprisingly. The first half of it for any 4th job+ party is literally waiting until the squad advances to manon. And these arent even rare/interesting bosses either, outside of maybe pianus for players who never ventured to its cave. Players advocating for BPQ to be always on or a multi-event staple probably haven't done it enough to get beyond the "shiny toy" phase to see how dull it is in its current form. It would take a near dojo-style overhaul to make BPQ interesting enough to fit in a rotation of non-event dailies. Or a level cap and refactor it as a somewhat uninspired PQ specifically for pre-zak leveled chars or something idk.

Perhaps it was just this event's structure of BPQ comprising the vast majority of a player's non-cosmetic points after graduating real PQs, but FOMO is real in BPQ. I cant recall, but I believe the gap between only clearing through levi and killing pianus was a larger gap in points this year than last year. Squads are highly incentivized to form squads that can kill the fish, and kill it quickly. Even level 200s who can solo the pq would rather party up 170+ to speed up their run and/or drag friends and alts through. I say this creates a gap in the 14x-16x range where the "viable level gap" is significantly smaller. A level 160 can't run with a 170+ squad without removing the 200. And nobody in their right mind would drop a 200 for a 160 who might even have int still. A 14x-16x squad can clear, but it would take a near full squad, with buffs, and not too many bishops/high washers. And it might still take a while. This kind of structure usually takes either a group of similarly leveled friends or a group formed literally at reset, when the pool of "able" runners is at its peak.

A couple hours after reset, BPQ becomes a ghost town. Not sure where all the "permanent BPQers" go, but it's not BPQ. Mixing in the stipulations above, it's hard to form a viable squad in that dead zone, often leading to levi only runs and losing event points (or sometimes not even running at all). J>BPQ at 150? Can't, there's already a level 18x+ and everyone else has already ran. It's also the only squad at the BPQ map.

If BadPQ must come back, I'd like to see it incentivized, but not feel required, to run it beyond the "daily 2 run limit". Why has everything else such as cosmetic party points and point conversion and raffles got a daily cap, but BPQ is stuck at a hard 2 run/day? As time goes on, the pool of players who can't help run even if they want to diminishes. I'd almost want to see PQ entires become unlimited, with points either capped to the first 2 runs or first xx points, or earned points severely reduced after the first 2 runs/threshold reached. Or even just making the solo version of the pq slowly farmable up to the cap if squads cannot be formed. If made technically "uncapped", it would probably bring a few reset farmers, but there's already farmable sources of nx/resets in LPQ, GPQ, multimage/general killing. IMO, BPQ really needs a way to keep squads formable outside of "peak" hours. But that also sounds like a lot of design work for what is ultimately BoringPQ. One that is fine for a short shelf-life, but quickly overstays its welcome. At least puff daddy was funny.

The main disappointment I had was that gold gachapon was not included in the event. I usually utilize the anniversary event to card hunt since it would serve a dual purpose of farming AP resets and finishing a t10 ring.

Other than that, I felt like the event points and rewards felt a little too gatekept to be worthwhile of changing my normal way of play. I didn’t take advantage of the fun 30 man scarga bonanzas of 2021 because bossing points could be maximized on other solo content and didn’t require socialization. The raffles felt fair in terms of reward/pay out, but it did feel like a chore by the end of it and I stopped entirely after getting the rabbit lamp chair which was the main thing I wanted.

    Overall

This event was cool but I think it lasted too long. I’m honestly drained from this event because I felt like I needed to get so much done every day. Someone mentioned that people were checking off “To-Do” lists and that’s exactly how I would describe it. I personally don’t like BPQ and I’ll go more into detail about my thoughts on the event down below.

    BPQ

BPQ is boring and hard to find a party unless you have an attacker or attacker friends to carry your mages (since most parties I’ve encountered never wanted a mage). I feel like if BPQ were continue in the future, dispels should be removed so that mages who don’t know what to do during a dispel don’t end up dying so easily and they can finally do some damage. If possible, please just removed Papulatus and Pianus from BPQ. The RNG of the invincibility and WCs for those 2 bosses make BPQ quite unbearable.

    Raffles

I like that I don’t have to spend a significant time doing raffles everyday and that there are options for bosses or mobs past level 121. I would want to suggest finding a way to make the threshold to raffle more difficult though. It’s really not that hard to make raffles mules since all you need to be is level 30. Almost everyone I knew was at some point making a raffle mule or was raffling on 7+ characters. Making raffle so muleable inflates the economy because of the amount of rewards pumped into the system everyday. Although I feel like the rewards were already a significant improvement from some of the previous events, I felt like the Duck tubes were a complete waste of effort. I understand that it’s all RNG and there needs to be “bad rewards” to balance the better stuff but it just seems awfully bad to get a duck tube which is used by no one. Everyone I talked to tossed their duck tube right away. It would be better to just give us 1 50% MMF jump juice than a duck tube because at least it’s useful. Last but not least, I think it would be interesting to add 1 APR into raffle. It could either be really useful or not useful at all for some people but it would be interesting.

    Point Conversion

I thought it was really clever to limit the amount of points people are able to convert to redeem “better” rewards, but it sucks for people who didn’t “plan ahead of time.” By the end of the event, I had about 1500+ points left over (after redeeming every cosmetic item, all 3 pets 3 times, and using 2 sets of the cosmetic bundle) and I just didn’t know what to do with it. I would be better if we were able to redeem summer points for stuff like pots or something because I really felt like I “wasted time” by playing and getting more points than I knew what to do with it.

    • Everyone is skipping maple equipment box for the armour scroll box which nets you higher EV (I heard this a lot), kinda defeats the purpose of an maple anniversary event with maple equips.
    • Maple syrup shouldn't have a 10% fail rate. I believe this was an point raised back then, when event ring upgrade will have a failed rate and the feedback consensus was that such upgrade shouldn't have a fail rate.
    Event Equipment
    • Since we know that the next event is gonna be eon months later. Maybe we should make all the event gears last longer like they used to be in early 2021? I think they were shortened when we have effectively seperate sprint/summer/anni/helloween/winter event, to allow for better rotation of event gears. Now the event counts are reduced, maybe we should revert this change

    Cosmetic
    • This is probabaly just me, but I find there are too much cosmetic when we bundle up 2 events together (summer/anniversay)

Giving honest feedback is the funniest shit. Heaven forbid I'd like to know what the raffle prize pool differences are.
Shame on me for providing data about how long one of the event features took and what I got out of it.
I tried to give feedback to help make future events better and all you did was mock it without providing any feedback of your own.

Instead of going "haha, iSlaNDer iZ coMplaIniNG" you could've specified why my feedback was wrong.
You know what isn't the funniest shit? How much of a cunt you were in that post.
Why didn't you contribute to the feedback instead?

But seeing as Kimmy agreed with your post, I don't think staff actually cares about the feedback.
That's the last time I report client crashes and other exploits. They don't get fixed anyways.

    Hi Seiras!

I'm sorry if I ruined your day by commenting on your feedback.

The reasons I considered your post funny are the following:
    - You mentioned a timeframe that I considered relatively short (compared to offland raffles and just in general) and phrased it as a complaint.
    - I do believe the prize pools per raffle were publicly accessible information. I think you could even get these from just talking to the NPC in MMF map.

I didn't contribute to the actual feedback thread because I didn't consider it very necessary.

Also, Kimmy didn't agree with my post, that's my signature.
