After getting to level 50, I ran over and did the zakum prequests. I ended up buying helm service (shoutout to koreanhealer, tyvm <3). However ...

The first run, there were two looters. Three helms dropped. I looted one, the other guy looted one. As was previously discussed, we were supposed to roll for the other helms if we both wanted to reloot it. I rolled a 53, kinda low but I wasn't hating my chances just yet, until ...

The helm I did loot was 14 str, 14 dex.

So, the seller took pity on me and offered to drag me along on another run the next day. However, I ended up asking him to just take me as the only looter on a run instead (because I figured my chances of getting a good helm that way were higher). One helm dropped ...

13 str 14 dex.

Being down 32m, I figured EHH WHATEVER, next time for sure right?

Since koreanhealer felt bad for me (I think) he offered to take me on another run for just 10m.

On this run, there were two buyers again. I took one, 13 str 14 dex. I won the roll this time and re-looted. Guess what?
U already know it, 13 str 14 dex. Being very frustrated I slammed 2x helmet for dex 70% on it, both passed! Things are looking up?
Then the next 3x helmet for dex 60% failed...

Anyhow, 42m + scroll costs later



Although I could buy 5 more 60s right now, I don't think it's worth finishing this helm and don't particularly feel like going on another run right now. I guess it'll have to do but this was NOT the plan here guys!

Ok so after that depressing story, let's go back to being fucking sickening!

Other gear upgrades include a silver deputy star and this cape!


I also have a weapon for future me! The maple kandiva bow thingies (lvl 64 bow) are absolutely unhinged in terms of prices for clean ones. However, I was staring with my eyeballs firmly at the library and noticed that there is a lvl 65 bow that also does not require any stats!
I boomed quite a couple (mostly bought 80+ attack ones for ~1m ea) and eventually landed a 30% on a perfect clean one (83 attack). Amazingly, all 60s on this bow passed?


Although the value of the bonus HP on the kandiva bow is probably quite significant, 98 attack is really good for now!

After all this my scrolling luck turned sour again, as I passed 0 out of 36 overall armor for dex 10% scrolls on clean bathrobes (trying to find an upgrade for 16 dex bathrobe). Since the dex bathrobes in the market are also very overpriced, will just have to keep trying.

Oh also I finished my 30 snowman AP resets for the week, HURRAY!

 

Got a bow upgrade and finished scrolling zhelm!
