As topic, I been at death teddie for a couple of levels now and it is burning so much pots I am not sure what to do.

Is it worth it to train a cleric character just to fund the fp or tough it out by going with fire arrow training?

PQs are a good option (LMPQ gives a TON of potions you can use or sell)! Guessing you're in the 51-70 range if you're poisoning DTs.

What is your hit rate on Death Teddies? (Use this calculator to find out.)

Every bit of INT helps, prioritise it over MA. A sword with +5 INT is going to be better than a wand with +0 INT regardless of MA.
Don't ignore any LUK that you can get either; they also help with magical accuracy. The Rudolph Toy Hat available to below-70s during this event can be super helpful if you don't have a Zakum Helmet.

Levels are also super important to improving your hit rate, so you might consider using other content to level up.
PQs (Ellin PQ and Orbis PQ) are always good if you haven't gotten their exclusive rewards yet. Both of the rewards from these PQs provide INT that is otherwise expensive to obtain (earring and glove).
Otherwise, you can grind it out at Master Chronos (nearby) or Drakes. Both of these drop valuable scrolls (Helm DEX 60% and Helm INT 60% respectively, the latter of which you can use in future!) and might be worth training on for quite a while.

If you really want to stay at Death Teddies, keep in mind the following:
    • Always dodge (by Teleporting away or "through" the mob) instead of taking a hit as it would cost much less mana.
    • Use Magic Claw to last-hit instead of another Poison Brace. It hits twice, which means it misses less. Not relevant if you have 100% hit rate.
    • Be patient. As you're looking to save pots, wait for a mob to pass instead of rushing through. Exp efficiency or Potion efficiency: it's up to you to balance based on your own situation.
    • Get a partner. If you can split the map between multiple people, each player won't have to traverse the map as much, saving you pots. You don't even have to be in a party if you think the other player is killing too slowly.

If you have fire arrow maxed, you can always go back to ghost ship or mannequins for exp and mesos.
