    Hey everyone,

I've been trying to get my full screen launcher to work for a few days. I tried everything possible.

It always just turns black and disconnects then goes back to my desktop.

    I tried the below:
    • Reinstalling
    • Changing the compatibility through troubleshoot to windows 7 & XP
    • Changing the compatibility manually to all users to windows 7 & XP
    • Adding the program to my NVIDIA control Panel
    • Allowing the program through my firewall
    • Disabling the firewall
If anyone has faced this issue and managed to fix it, please let me know. Really excited to be playing Gunbound again :(

Can you open the launcher > Options > and turn off the auto refresh thingy?

Thank you for responding so fast.

Unfortunately it still hasn't worked. It just seems like there's nothing I can do make it compatible.

If you have any more suggestions, I would really appreciate it :)

Can you delete Dxwnd.dll ddraw.dll dxwnd.dxw then run the Windowed client?

    All are in gunbound folder.

Random question, but when's the last time you rebooted your computer?

    Hi Kimberly,

I did and launched the windowed launcher.

You can find a screenshot of error code 310 + a screenshot of my DxDiag

Restarted a couple of times when I was uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Been at this for a couple of days now.

Same issue. Suggested fixes didn't work and I also tried a bunch of compatibility settings.
Windowed mode works, but is too small to really be usable.

Windows event log has this to say regarding the full screen crash:

I have the same issue and haven't been able to figure out how to use the full screen launcher without it crashing. Are there confirmed instances of it working as intended with Windows 10 and/or NVIDIA cards? Currently I have to resort to running it through VMware with Win7.

Is there a way to maximize the size of the windowed version?
