Windows 8/8.1/10 Game suddently shuts down

    Beginner
    The game shuts itself during the first 3 minutes of opening it and displays no error. It shuts itself during the menu, during the character creation or even in game. Tried reinstaling it and didn't work and also tried other server and the same thing happened.
    Any idea why does that keep happening?

    Hi nabokov,

    I have some ideas for troubleshooting but before we start, could you kindly provide your system information?

    Operating System (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.)
    Operating System version
    MapleLegends Client version
    Have you tried clean install? (yes/no)
    Have you excluded whole MapleLegends folder from your anti-virus?
    What else have you tried?

    If you have any other information you think is relevant, please write them too.

    Tried running with MapleLegends with my anti-virus closed.

    Could you please try right clicking on client, go to properties, compatibility, turn on compatibility and set to windows xp (service pack 3)?

    If it doesn't work, try setting the compatibility to other OSes.

    Please let me know if that worked.

    If not, additional information required:
    - does client crash in both fullscreen and windowed?
    - what anti-virus(es) do you have?

    Continues crashing on compability mode, regardless of OS.
    Crashes both in fullscreen and windowed.
    I use Webroot SecureAnywhere.

    If you want to, I would like to try to remote into your desktop using TeamViewer and try to diagnose the problem myself.
