[Guide] Pets (commands, reviving, evolving, multi pets)

Any advice for leveling pets? Is it:

• Feed pet whenever hunger is below 100.
• Spam sit/stand/etc commands until the pet gets hungry or mad
• Repeat?
• Buy the NX premium pet food

 

Hang on rope while spamming chat.

 

It doesn't matter which commands, right? Level 1, 10, 20. As long as it's a command the pet responds to.

Pet "Jump Quest" maps like in Henesys and Ludibrium give pets +2 closeness.

Just keep jumping along the course.

 

Further investigation:

It appears that not all commands are treated equal.

Using the Penguin pet...

• It appears that the "talk" command sometimes gives +1 closeness, while the "hug" command gives +2 closeness. Despite both being level 2 commands.
• It appears that certain commands are more likely to be responded to. For example, "sit" and "stand" appear to trigger +1 closeness more often than "bad".
• It appears that commands with sound effects (ex: poop, hug) are more likely to grant closeness... but may just be a perception bias.
• It appears that the best strategy is to alternate through a list of commands to spam, as repeating the same command a 4th time within a small window of time triggers the "Repeating the same line..." error.

The most efficient strategy to level a pet appears to be to find the skill that gives the most closeness, repeat it 3x times, add it one other command, pause then repeat. Example with a Penguin, in "To All" chat (please find an empty channel):

2. > hug
3. > hug
4. > sit
5. 1 second pause
6. and repeat
