Haku's $ journal and progression

Hi This thread was inspired by moomin's $$ & Akash's HT journal which I enjoy quite a lot!

A little back ground of myself. I began playing ML in the beginning of 2018. My first class was a priest because I knew I wanted an HS mule. Eventually I made an HB, SE, MU mule to support my characters. My first main dps was a hero (ign: Sword), which I eventually stopped funding but still use for boss runs, until I created my NL (ign: Haku) in the beginning of 2019. I've played on and off since my time here mainly due to being busy with college and burning myself out from extreme grinds. My daily schedule is a lot more consistent now since I just work and can spare some time playing my fav mushroom game \o/. I enjoy bossing and making mesos.

Long term goals
1. Buy / Make a perfect Claw (Craven / Sleve / NT??)
2. Lv. 175 for toad exp / & Pink bean?
3. Reset my 260 base INT. (~6-7 months)
4. 18-19k base hp for my NL (1+ year)

Short term goals
1. Lv. 169 for Nameless exp
2. 13,200 hp to tank Vergamot with no HB (~60 more days!)
3. Begin resetting base INT once I reach 13,200 hp

Here are my rules mainly to keep my self consistent and not burn myself out.
1. Do 2x Nibergen daily (My exp will mainly come from this. I could leech but it bores me).
and.. that's it! This ensures I slowly level and hopefully gain some mesos if it drops something other than crystal *pepehands*.

Other things that I do daily but have no control over if I can / can't do it are
1. Selling 1 hit Petris leech. I have a limit of 2 hours a day for this if I'm for it. Anymore I start losing my mind. For that reason, I'm mainly starting to just do 1 hour sessions when buyers are available.
2. 2x Nameless (Need a pally that can pin Nameless. Runs are 100%)
3. Vergamot / Dunas (Currently not prioritizing these because my NL needs HB for Vergamot and Dunas gives no exp T-T)
3. Merch (Buy low / Sell high) I invest in certain items and try to make a profit so sometimes my mesos will take a hit.
4. Event farming for raffles, loot, gacha tix (This requires time. Certain days I have less time)
5. Sell Scar helm service

Day 0

I washed regularly to 10k hp with 260 base int + int equips. (+ HP, - MP, +Main stat)
After 10k hp, I began allocating my fresh AP into my MP. 1 fresh AP gives me 24 mp because of my base int of 260. Not going to dive into too much detail into that, but I allocated enough fresh AP until I had enough MP to eventually get myself to 18-19k hp once I finish resetting my base int.

My current mesos as of right now. May fluctuate quite a lot if certain things in my store sell, I invest in something to resell or other boss splits that I may earn.

 

Day 1

HP gained +64 (4 AP Resets) / EXP 22.13% 4x Nibergen & 2x Nameless.

I might as well start tracking my hero too. He levels quite fast being able to earn exp from Nib and Nameless.

Probably the most mesos I've gained in a day without pulling a WS/CS or 4 att pgc. The pace is unrealistic to maintain because some of it is just pure rng, but the effort is definitely not a hassle.

A more realistic day for me. If I had a daily goal, it would probably be at least 30m a day as a base minimum or ~1b a month.
I think consistency and not over doing things will benefit any grind in the long run.

Also, I think I'm going to start doing weekly updates instead. Still debating ><. So maybe on day 10, a week from now,
I will check back and see if I met my minimum weekly goal of 210m / week or 30m / day. =p

 

Day 10

HP gained +228 (14 AP Resets) / 1 Level, EXP 57.64 %
I allocated 5 more fresh AP to my MP. I calculated my goal hp wrong with drods.
Usually, regular hp washing will get me 16-20, with an average of 18. With MP washing, it's fixed at 16 for thieves and I didn't account for that.

HP gained +326 (5 AP Resets) / 1 Level, 59.01 %
Almost 30k base hp for my hero. He's about to over lap my Night Lord in levels while being 9 levels ahead..

Surpassed my weekly goal of 210m a week by quite a lot. A huge chunk of it came from selling leech (1-2 hours a day), Speargrave 2H, Market flipping, Farming mesos.
I usually make ~20m an hour selling petris which is a decent amount, but I can manage to farm loot on 2 other accounts at the same time which adds up to a lot.
Selling leech is still probably the most consistent way of making money. If you're planning to play long term, I suggest invest on making an HS mule + Arch mage / Bishop. But yeah, I try to make the most of my time while I'm on. I think they call it, no xp waste xD. Sorry I'm horrible at summarizing things.

Playtime: ~5 hours on a weekday. Won't be playing as much this week. I always miss xmas events because this is always around the time I take a huge break. I'd like to cut down on play time a bit as well. I'm still handicapped with my base int and there's really no rush to perfect a claw.
Sometimes I just stay logged on for no reason. I just want to play, get some things done and I should log out and look to do something else for the day.
I think my plan right now is to buy a scrolled claw around the atk range of 75-80 until I can afford a fully scrolled perfect claw which guarantees I don't fail 30+ white scrolls on 1 slot making one.
There's also the looming thought of what type of weapon Pink Bean will bring which makes me hesitant on even trying to perfect one right now.

I was motivated to hunt cards! I gave up after 10 sets or so C: least of my priorities at the moment.

Okay.. first things first, I did a lot of things differently this week. As you can tell, Haku gained more levels than usual. I stopped selling petris leech. I began selling 5-6 duo mage leech, which I did about 10 hours of starting Saturday. I know I know. I exceeded my daily hourly limit, but I came to find out one thing. I only hated leech because Petris map requires a lot of attention and all the platforming gets tedious. What I also hated about selling leech was that it was just for pure mesos. At 5-6, I could sell split for a good amount while also leeching my Night Lord. 5-6 is a lot easier and gives me motivation to do it because I'm also getting exp. I do sacrifice some mesos by not selling to two people, but I value levels as well. Thanks to akashsky for the quick tip. Because of this new change, I didn't get to do much Neo Tokyo as I usually do. I will probably pick it up again when I reach 169. I also did a few CWKPQ runs as well, since that gives me mesos, exp and extra vote cash which Is nice.

Another thought that crossed my mind was.. why I began this journal in the first place. It took me a lot of thinking and then I just felt bad. I know I didn't do this to show off or anything, because we're all progressing in this game at different paces and that no matter how big or small of a progress you're making, that as long as you're enjoying this game, then it doesn't really matter. Out of this whole week, the most fun I had was probably the two Horntail runs that didn't drop shit. I enjoyed chatting with my guild and just joking around. It gets boring and tedious doing the same thing over and over again. For relatively new players or anyone that's reading this, just do you! It doesn't matter what you are doing in this game as long as you are enjoying it and having fun.
Fun is subjective and different for everyone. Some enjoys this game by min maxing, doing the most damage, playing efficient and some just enjoys being around their friends, community and enjoying the nostalgia. Do what you enjoy and progress at your pace. It took a long time before reaching this point for me, and the fun level at this point is not any higher than the fun I had when I first installed this game back in 2018, personally.

Anyways, sorry about that rant. I forgot my point. Oh yes, why did I begin this journal in the first place. Like I said, I was inspired by moomins progress and consistency. I wanted to see how much I could progress by consistently doing certain things that I knew benefited me and to also give some insight to others on how to make some money, but I think my idea was a bit skewed and doesn't really help anyone or me at all. Reason I felt bad was that I didn't want to mislead others that my progress, whether bad or really good, is ideal for efficient gameplay. There are so many levels of progress on different stages of the game. Everyone starts off somewhere. I can't do the same thing every day. I don't want to come home knowing I'll just repeat the same things over and over again because that leads to burn out, for me at least.

Last but not least, I decided I will not continue with this weekly Journal. I apologize to anyone that might have actually liked this :C. I appreciate you. I will continue to work towards my goals and maybe come back to this one day when it's all said and done. Thanks to anyone taking time out of their day to read this as well. Much love!

Hahaha. Everyone says that. It was from summer event and I'm not sure of the name. It's the middle one.

 

Ah lol the lost journal. I didn't plan to update this again, but here's one for you.

I took a 3 month break and came back during quarantine. I didn't plan to come back actually, but thanks to some friends, I'm playing my fav mushroom game again.

Before I took a break, I bought a 75 att craven which I CSS'd to 75 att 1 slot. Boomed it with a 30. That a long with the repetitive daily NT and leeching was getting boring to me.

Came back and sold my 12 att cape to afford this claw


Eventually bought back my 12 att cape then traded it + mesos for a 15 att cape
Reached 15k hp while I was gone and decided to stop there to begin lowering my 260 base int. Currently at 160 int now.


I just reached 180 which is a pretty cool milestone. Mainly HT and daily Neo Tokyos with some Cwkpqs.
Also, who named me Lord in the rankings? f3


That's about all that has happened since I came back.
Oh yeah, after ~300 neo tokyo runs, I got my first chair from Nibergen.


Long term goals.
-Buy a 16-17 wa glove
-Begin perfecting a claw
-Scroll a 23 wa glove in like 100+ years
-Wash out the rest of my to hp for 20k+ hp
