How to Install Maple on a Mac using the windows .exe

Pre-steps:
Download Wineskin Winery

Download Maplelegends.exe (NEW)
probably released by Kimmy somewhere

Download Maplelegends.exe (OLD)
*you don't have to if you have the old client still*

1. Create a new blank wrapper
open up Wineskin Winery and you should see


click the [+] and Download and Install. I just went with the default one

Click [Create New Blank Wrapper]

name it whatever you want.... I called it Maplelegendz.app so it's close by for convenience sake

when prompted saying it's not optimized click [OK]
when prompted for incoming network connections click [Allow]

Now click [View Wrapper in Finder]
out of convenicence, copy to the Applications folder



Right click or two finger click and go to [Show Package Contents]



2. Install maplelegends.exe
Double click Wineskin.app inside the Maplelegends.app folder
Select [Advanced]
Navigate to Tools
click Winetricks
search for vcrun6sp6

Now run it
Once done, hit close

Re open Wineskin.app
Navigate to Advanced
Click [Install Software]
Click [Choose Setup Executable]
Select the Maplelegends.exe from before
Install it. Unclick [Create a desktop item]

at the end unclick configure MapleLegends and unclick Launch MapleLegends

When this pops up, select MapleLegendsHD/MapleLegends.exe
congrats it's installed! But we're not done yet


3. Putting (NEW) Maplelegends.app into the (OLD) MapleLegends.app
Navigate back to the new maplelegendz.app or whatever you called it and go to Show Contents

Go into drive_c and select copy (don't just ctrl +c / ctrl + v)



Now navigate back to the (NEW) maplelegends.app and paste it right next to the Neckson folder


open up the OLD Wineskin.app located there and go to Advanced
Then select Browse
Navigate and point to /MapleLegendsHD/maplelegends.exe
Now go to Tools and refresh wrapper
Close everything and you should be good to run!

Troubleshooting:
If you find wineskin not responding and need to quit things, check your Activity Monitor for anything related to Maplestory/Wine and force quit them
