It seems like Windows Defender (Microsoft Security Essential) started globally block our client since suddenly a lot of people receive issues. I wrote earlier today a post on how to put an exception with Windows Defender, but here's a topic. The images are from the Windows 10 version, the images from Microsoft Security Essential are from the Vista version.

GunBound users: Follow the very same steps but instead of making an exception to MapleLegends folder you make an exception to the 'GunBound Origins' folder!

Click the spoilers to see the tutorial.

    1) Click Settings:

    2) Select Excluded files and locations tab

    3) Press Browse button

    4) Navigate to MapleLegends folder and click it once, then click "Ok"

    5) After you see the folder has been added like pictured below, press "Add"

    5) Press Save Changes

    6) re-download the client or re-install the game and you should be good to go!
    1) Open Windows Defender

    2) Click Settings

    3) Scroll down to last option until you see version information, click "Add an exclusion"

    4) Select "Exclude a folder"

    5) Navigate to MapleLegends folder and click it once and click "Exclude this folder"

    6) You should now see following:

    7) re-download the client or re-install the game and you should be good to go!

After you've followed the steps it's the best to re-install MapleLegends in the very same folder you made an exception on!
