Tired of selling regular, non-interesting, bland, and just meh leech?
Want something stressful, difficult, mentally draining, and super OP?

    Well, look no further.

In these short 20 steps, you too can sell GODLY leech:
    1. Make a bishop - easy!
    2. Make a Lv79 FP - arguably harder?
    3. Make a 41 HB mule!
    4. Run 3 instances of ML simultaneously.
    5. Take all your characters to the far right Shaolin Temple.
    6. Plop your leechers in a safe spot in Forest of Towers (1 map right).
    7. Create a party with your leechers, FP, and HB mule (exclude bishop!)
    8. Again, exclude the bishop (though you can HB yourself first).
    9. Send FP in to fart over the length of the map and exit the right side.
    10. It'll take you back to town at the portal you entered in, by the way.
    11. Add Bishop to party and HS your leechers.
    12. If there are 2 leechers, kick bishop from party. If 1, leave bishop in the party.
    13. Wait for poison to finish...
    14. ...still waiting...
    15. Use bishop to kill all the 1 HP mobs.
    16. Once mobs are dead, exit right side with bishop (leave party now if you haven't already).
    17. Repeat from step 9.
    18. Repeatedly forget to manage your party correctly (kicking and re-adding bishop)
    19. Pull out majority of your hair.
    20. Give up.
    CONGRATULATIONS - you've got Post-Traumatic-Seller-Disorder.

At least you can sell leech to lv74+ with over 15m exp/hr split...
    Or if you sell 3-way-split...

    BUT WAIT, there’s more!!

Try running a quad-split-leech by using the mist’s wait time to mist and kill another channel!!
All for the low, one-time cost of your relationship with friends and family!!

It's an interesting concept, and it can probably be used at lower levels too if other people have some ideas, mostly concerning the second job's poisoning skill.

I did a little math regarding the Headless Horseman but nothing meta-breaking in regards to exp considering he has 42 avoidability. It's difficult to hit him with a poison ball until you're level 70 or so or have a metric ton of int. In my research I also found the formula for magic accuracy. If you want to test some monsters(Or even if you can attest to the formula's accuracy, that would be appreciated)

    "Magical Accuracy:
    Thikket and Nekonecat's version:
    Quote:
Let x = (trunc(INT/10) + trunc(LUK/10))/(Avoid+1)*(1+0.0415*D), where D is the level difference between the player and the monster.
    Then
    hitrate% = -2.5795x^2 + 5.2343x - 1.6749"

Don't let the trunc confuse you like it did for me. :^) It just means round down, so if you have 108 int then trunc(108/10) = 10.8 and you just round down to 10 for magic accuracy.

Any other ideas for monsters to try to poison for leeching? It does need to have pretty low avoid.

Edit: Also here's where I got the info. There's a lot of interesting nerd stuff if you're a nerd you nerd.

Headless Horseman is considered a boss and isn't affected by poison! I also love using ayumilove's equations for calculations, good resource for sure. Due to the mechanics of poison brace, there are no efficient leech options using it; however it's really effective as a training method if you've got extremely strong INT and LUK equips (used to calculate magic accuracy, as per the equation). Traditionally, DTs are used as the poison brace go-to spot starting around lv55 to 60... but if you've got a main character to help with finishing, Vikerolas are actually much better! The map is smaller and more manageable PLUS they give more exp!

JoolahnJoolahn - I'll admit, this is fun! Thanks for writing the instructions. Following these steps I was able to give a level 80 leecher about 9m eph.

Questions about the what any the why:

1.) The instructions say "If there are 2 leechers, kick bishop from party. If 1, leave bishop in the party." Why is this? In my experience, kicking the bishop from the party would always provide the leecher with more experience. It appears that the ideal situation is that the bishop is not in the same party as the leechers when they are doing the final killing. (It does not matter if the bishop is in or out of the party when the F/P is doing the misting)

2.) Any tips for ensuring that every Gold and Bronze martial artist is hit with poison? In my experience, there seem to be a few martial artists that avoid getting poison each pass I do.

you can do the reverse way too:
get you fp and leecher o safe spot
use angel ray to bring all mobs bellow the safe spot (tower)
put down the fp to poison,
    bishop kills

Clever! I like the idea of using the Bishop to pull the mobs. I'll have to test this tonight. It may depend on how easy it is to get the F/P up and down to the safe spot.

True. When you're dual-client-ing a level 79+ F/P, and a last-hitter (Bishop), that's for sure the best way to do it.

However, I'm going to have to test selling leech with this method. As per the original post, the tricky part is getting the F/P mage off of the map, since you actually don't want them to either get a cut of the exp, or leveling up. You might be able to keep the F/P in the safe spot, and get the off the exp-share by changing channels, but I'm going to test and see if that's more or less effective then just walking them to the end of the map and looping back through Shaolin.

Amazed to see this topic bumped. Yes, it still works. Getting the Mist FP off map is not tricky, CS, FM, and using a portal all work. What you cannot do is change channel. The exp provider (mister) must remain on the channel in order for party exp to play.

I've built this setup, and it is a very good strategy for low 3rd job leech. That quoted 15m EPH in the OP was pre-shaolin exp nerfs; it's a struggle to hit 13.5 now. That isn't much more than Vikerolas does as a matter of EPH for the buyer, so I generally end at 82. Vikes gives you, the host, better direct rewards than this strategy, as you get personal exp and also much better loot.
