HP Washing

Is it a permanent thing or is it temporary for when you enter a boss room?

So if im correct, Im a xbower with lvl 30 with 30 int base. when I level up I put 1 level AP into HP and use a reset to put 1 reset AP of mp in main stat? Kinda need to clear things, Im totally new to the HP wash thing. If this is correct I consider taking base Int to 50 since Im kinda new around here. xD Thanks for the guide!!

 

yes that's correct!

 

To add to this, you can only reset out of mp if you have enough mp to do so

 

You need 12 extra MP to wash once, meaning 120 total int. So you can either lvl with 30 int 4x and wash once or increase your base int to lower the amount of levels needed per wash

 

probably should get your base int to 40-60 and get some kind of int gear (int lv 8 wand, int cape, int oa, etc) any extra int helps, every 10 int is extra 1mp, every 12 mp is 1 wash. Every wash is 16-20 hp and you need 5.6k for HT and 3.5k for zak (zak is easy )

 

So it's like 30int = 4 lvls per wash, 40=3lvls. Then jump to 60int base for 2 lvls per wash. I guess I'll go for 40 base since I'm pretty low Lvl and still can grind of save up until I can buy some int scrolls. 60 int base sounds like a huge chunk of dex missing xD, but it might be good if I want to wash even faster. I'll think about it. Thanks!!

For NLs case, with AP reset,
Adding HP : +16 / Reducing HP : -20
Adding MP : +10 / Reducing MP : -12

this amount doesn't get effect on base/gear/MW ints.

 

I've been getting a lot of conflicting information regarding total INT required for a NL to hit 5.6k base HP at Lv.155. I had one guide tell me NLs gain 20~24 HP per AP, when it actually is 16~20. I started my journey thinking 30 INT would be enough but now I have no idea anymore.

 

It depends on which server you are playing, that guide you used was probably made for another server

This guide shouldn't be the guide used for HP washing. There isn't a lot of useful information necessary to properly calculate the amount of int that you need. And your HP goal and your currently funding effects how much base int you put in your character.

This is also completely wrong. Each job has their own MP gain and it's not this formula. I know you don't use the forums anymore, but this is a warning to anyone who happens to check this thread out as an HP washing guide.

 

How can a guide say that washing is irrelevant when most bosses is gonna dispel meso guard?

Im a lvl 120 shadower that did NOT wash because of guides likes this.

Could anyone with experience give me some tips? Atm I almost feel like remaking the char

That's like saying mages need to hp wash cause magic guard can get dispelled.

I have played alot of maple through the years but i never really got into bossing so i just have to ask

I got aware of it after trying to kill manon/griffey and papulatus and they all dispel+att at the same time.
