I'm debating on whether or not I want a Maple Sword enough to make some islander mules to do more cakes.

I've gotten some okay equips from it so far and like 10 soccer fevers lol

What's this Maple Lake map I can see on maple island? I can't seem to access it or find info on it. Am I confused??

 

Is there still a discord server for Islanders?

Level 35 on my Islander now. I'm a very painful 1 minimum damage away from the Gold Surfboard guaranteeing a OHKO on all mobs on the island. Stuck with the White Rose a level longer.

 

This is the pure def of a grinder.

 

Only a few raffle tickets in and already found these beauties. No more concern over OHKO'ing on Maple Island finally, and I have a fast (5) weapon to boot. All I need is a good set of Maplemas Lights come the Christmas Event and I'm golden.

 

What parts of the event do we get access to? I can't use the teleport item, I found the map with pumpkins and ghosts but they only seem to drop candies that i can't find anything to do with and i've not seen any event quests anywhere. I can't see any of the event images as im from the UK and imgur is blocked.

Huge shoutout to SnailQuest for helping me with maxing out my Zombie Ring! I wasn't expecting to get it, much less max it out, but here I am. I managed to get one on my off-island Beginner AND my Islander.

 

Sorry for the double post, but for the upcoming Christmas event, is there anything else essential I should be looking for other than the Maplemas Lights and potentially Christmas Socks? Like, I'm at an interesting point where my Lifeguard Saver I was given is just barely strong enough to ensure a OHKO against anything on the island, but it's only Fast (5) IIRC. So the lights would really only benefit me being slightly faster and in theory should get me better EXP rates than the LGS.

 

you can smuggle in a 14-15 pet speed item via cash shop and use the maplemas spear. you can prob also try doing kenta's quest on a pet and smuggling that too

 

Got to level 40 just as I did the event for the last time I'm allowed to do it. Haven't had any luck getting Maplemas Lights though and I'm going through a bad raffle ticket drought. At least I got a 2 Attack Red Sock with a 1 STR Navy Sock for backup once it expires. I did get a spare Warm Muffler though for new islanders if they need it. I really hope I get my lights before the event ends.

^Alive but not doing so well. I am just getting the worst luck ever trying to get my lights. Since the event, I've maxed out the event counter and have pretty much just been logging in for an hour every day just trying to get lucky to no avail. It's becoming demoralizing and starting to get a bit lonely as well not having anyone to talk to, neither here nor within the odd job community to keep me motivated. By the way, is there a way to see how many raffle tickets I've turned in?

Also, level 41 and my current EQUIP tab. I had to expand it twice just to have enough room for everything and to be able to train. I have been laser focused on picking everything up that I get from mobs, hence the 2.9m mesos that I have nothing to spend on.

 

Any islander (active or not) that got maple throwing stars on the island? B> or borrowing some sets, been having so much fun on the island lately so I figured out I should be more active.

My morale sadly has been shot from playing. I failed to get myself a set of lights despite playing all that I did. The only decent thing I got as a 2 STR Navy Sock and a 2 W.Atk sock, the latter I don't count because it's temporary. At least I got to 41 during the event. I can't see myself being active too much for a while, not that I have been the most active anyway.

 

wait is an islander the game on hardcore mode?

 

Not so much hardcore mode as it is just a different way to relax. I didn't get any socks or lights this event, but I didn't have much opportunity to play during the last week.

 

doesn't it get harder to level up?
