Why does this exist?

 

Probably to help people who are learning English, particularly if they have a wildly different number system to the English one (like French does, for example).

Also, you done goofed and put 3578 in the 3577th post. Christmas is ruined.

I'll bring us back on track: 3578 in French is trois mille cinq cent soixante-dix-huit. This literally translates to "Three thousand five hundred sixty-ten-eight" (an alternate translation could be "sixty and eighteen" at the end)
