    I have noticed this too. When I join when hes already there I have no problem. As soon as he dies. BAM, game crashes.

    What are 'issues with cake' can you be more specific? Also, confused about having 2 minute delays, no other people have lag right now. Can you perhaps restart your PC/Router? That solved it for other in past.

    Thought I explained it. So I do not know if you have observed this but maybe some other players have. Some players have a random delayed death at the cake event map. The problem is that for some reason my keyboard commands/chat/everything maple related has a 2 minute delay and it is specifically in that map. It is not about PC/Router because if that was the case I would be having the issue outside of the map. I guess an example is: In real time the cake is dead, but in my "lagged" time the cake is still at about 20% and everything looks like it is running properly.

    My theory is that because I have Korean internet (which is quite stable and hard to disconnect with) In most people's cases they should DC. But because I do not my character is lagging behind 2 minutes the game and attacking the cake in a position that should be theoretically be out of range in real time. Hence the reason why I probably got banned for Far attack like 5 times now.

    Another case where a normal player should have dced, but in my case I did not was in Horntail. I have caused Horntail Prehead A to not attack for about 15 minutes because I was extreme lagging and it was aggroed on me, but I did not dc the entire time and even got to move onto Horntail Prehead B.

    Stated issues has nothing to do for the new client, so I can't help with that. Sounds like a super strange issue nonetheless since you are supposed to timeout if you are no longer connected for a specific amount of time, which seems to happen fine for everyone... this is first time I have ever heard someone lag behind by 2 minutes..

    So how do you explain the delayed deaths in the cake map. There are a good amount of people who died minute or two after the cake is dead. Look I just want to enjoy the event and stop getting false banned, sure maybe the new client might not help. I am just confused on why your not letting me test something that might possibly help me not to get banned. I've been banned 5 times within 15 days during this event. I have never had this problem before the event and you are telling me this has nothing to do with the client?

    Well, its easily possible some people can't handle the mass amount of packets send during Cake, but I am very sure this would be a server issue (but if thats case everyone would be lagging at same time), or the connection of the user being weak (example you would get a similar affect if you were to play on 3g connection).

    But you say your connection is nice, so...

    But really though this thread is for client crashes, so unfortunately I cannot really help with the issue in this topic.

    Next time you see people with delayed dead try click them and see if they still have the mitten in their equip list.
