Session 25

While pulling my mage out of GS5, turned in a gach ticket real quick. Got a GFA 70%, so... free money, I guess. Can get like ~8 million for that. Hit level 33 (using a quest to cover the last bit); shouldn't be too much trouble to get to level 41 this way. Then just park the HB mule over in NLC (no reason it can't double as an NLC pot mule) and all will be perfection.

 

Regarding the lack of activity, it's not really for any particular reason. It's worth noting that this is gonna take at least a year just to do all the necessary voting, so there's not really a rush.

 

So, bad news, fell off a little bit when it came to voting. Good news, still voted frequently enough that I managed to at least have a million NX on the account that will ultimately house the main.

Yeah, life got a bit busy around then and I wasn't able to keep up too much. Good thing I waited, now that you have your bucc washing guide up.

And fortunately it looks like the market's about the same as it was last year.

 

Session 26

So, threw myself at this for a little bit tonight after a long hiatus. Self-leeched another level in the HB mule, getting that to level 34 out of 41. Jr. Wraith leech is... not especially speedy, but what can you do? Not too much further with this chunk of dead weight.

In the meantime, put up the GFA 70% that I had lying around to see if I could sell that overnight. Also did some thinking + looking at that bucc washing guide and realized that I was shooting way for the moon when it came to the INT-scrolled bathrobe. I have, as it stands, about 34 INT from equips (earrings, wand, hat, shoes, gloves, cape). Realistically I only need 16 more INT from everything in total.

So, a +16 INT overall would be plenty. Also given that overall INT 70%'s seem to cost 3 million these days rather than 2, it's likely that I'd be better off just buying an overall when one shows up. Looking at the guide, with +50 from INT equips it should be possible to use 10 less base INT for the whole process to hit the same goal (the guide says that it includes +50 from equips but the data chart assumes 0 from equips? I assume this is an error).

That's to say nothing of the fact that, unless I'm mistaken, the data only accounts for INT equips starting at level 50. I'd be able to have +50 INT in equips starting at, like... level 30. I'd have +50 without even a Zak helm! Hell if I throw in a Zak helm then I can ditch any requirement on the bathrobe completely and just get a +10 INT one, and still have over +50 INT at level 50.

Now if only I could remember what the actual plan was overall... I think I was considering making a F/P archmage, but I also bought all three varieties of maple knuckler, so I think I was also entertaining the idea of the bucc being able to level itself. I think, using a gun and one point in double shot, plus all of those DEX equips that I currently have on the HB mule, it'd actually be able to do enough damage to get through the second job advancement, then switch over to one of the knucklers and not be doing absolutely no damage at that point.

Like, at some point it starts being able to do damage simply because it's able to start investing in STR at level 56 (54?), so if nothing else the third job advancement is likely not going to be impossible. I'm just trying to remember what the actual intended process was for all of this.

 

Are porkies vulnerable to heal? Since I'm using my eventual HS mule to that end, that's the limitation at the moment. Otherwise, I suppose it then becomes the question of whether or not I bother to also make a F/P for this whole endeavor or just... level the HS mule until it can also self-leech the bucc.

Or just make an F/P that I grind myself and use the money I make from the process to pay for leech for the bucc. Though at that point it begs the question of why I'm bothering leveling a HS mule in the first place. Maybe I just level until bishop and self-leech? Wish I remembered what the goal was here.

EDIT: Alright, remembered the plan: F/P into bucc, using the F/P for money rather than necessarily self-leech. Makes sense to me.

 

Session 27

The grind continues! Didn't level the HB mule with today's grinding session, but did manage to level the HS mule. Level 49 now; should make GS nicer to return to once this HB mule hits level 41. In the meantime, the GFA 70% sold for a good price, and I had a fun moment where I tried to buy from someone smega'ing a +15 INT bathrobe only to find out that they were actually selling a +1 5 INT bathrobe, for 32 mil.

Would've been a steal if that space weren't there.

 

I'll keep that in mind if I do decide to level it past 41, but I imagine that I won't.
