Maple Happily - Progression log

First post to list my current progress from my first week or so

Cleric to 43 (ChirpyMage)
Magician (to be IL) to 17 (MinakamiYuki)

So far the stuff I picked up for my characters:
-A maple staff, landed 3 60s on it (bad luck ;_ (2m including scrolls)
-Some m atk gloves (2 int 4 m atk) (1m)
-6 int 3 slot yellow gaia cape (100k)
-7 atk wg (500k)
-2 str stolen fence to equip green paintbrush for 30-35

Currently working to 50 on the cleric to get a Nocturnal staff. Lamas are kinda $$$ for me right now so I'm gonna wait and go for the free option instead. Then longer goals are 80/120 for HS and Genesis after that.

 

I picked it up since I plan to make a hunter later and it looked cheap enough that I might be able to profit a little if I end up with a better one before I make the bow.

 

Today's updates:

Killed some wraiths until 45, then headed over to Master Chronos. Got my Magician to 18 killing some pigs while on the boat ride. Once I got to the Chronos though, I realized I did an oopsie, and got the overall int 30% price mixed up with overall luk 30... RIP 7m.



I did pick up a helm dex 60% very shortly after though, making back 4m~. Here's hoping for a few more before I move on to ghost ship.



Didn't mention in my first post, but I got a shield atk 60% when I was leveling at Genin in the 30s. Bought a m atk shield for 25m (20m + the scroll). Not sure what the value normally is on this, but it fills out my shield slot, and I'll probably be using it for a long time before it can be upgraded, so I'm quite happy with it. It also boosts my luk to 10, giving me a little more magic accuracy.

 

Some updates from today. Sold the mitten I had mentioned in my first post - I feel like I'll have something better by the time I actually need it, so may as well just cash out now while that small amount of mesos is still useful to me



Bought a couple more upgrades for my cleric. 3m Nocturnal staff, 3m 7 int level 25 cape, and put some speed scrolls on my shoes to get around quicker. I was planning to get the staff from the quest, but at 3m with 4 scrolls landed, I figured it was a better deal than waiting and gambling with my own scrolls. I'll just sell the one I get later. Having a low level cape will come in handy when I level my IL mage later as well.







Picked up a couple cards before leaving Ludi - figured I may as well knock them out now while I'm here since they're undeads and the exp is still decent for me. Got to 47 doing them.




Also reached a new milestone. With level 47, the cape, and the int shield from my last post, I now have enough accuracy to 100% hit at Ghost Ship 1! Slimies should become faster at around 52, so I'll probably move to GS2 around then.



EDIT: Reminder to self, Voodoos also reach 100% accuracy by level 53, so that's another option if I want a break from this place (drops Heartstoppers)

Ghost Ship is my new home. Going to be a lot of updates that look like this screenshot now I guess! Level 51 today.



Scored a white raccoon mask (with +3 accuracy!) from gacha today. Also not one, but TWO shoe jump 30s! Easy 20m once all that sells. Probably will invest it into earrings since I cba to go to El Nath and do Zakum quests yet. Then maybe a Deputy Star, and finally a Zhelm after those. Waiting on the helm should also give me enough accuracy to kill the zombies and pick up their cards while I get the teeth. Save cash, build deck, gain exp.

 

I truly hate ghost ship - it's always been one of my least favourite grind spots, up there with sniping newties, but Clerics don't really have many options. So I figured it's time to start watching anime again to pass the time. Finished the first 3 episodes of Shikanokonokonoko Koshitantan and got to level 53 today!

I'm in bed on my phone right now but just pretend the screenshot from my last post is here with a level 53 instead, and at Slimies.

I've moved on from Pac Pinkies, and so has my exp/kill. Picked up quite a few equip drops, a Wand 60 (nicer than BW60 at the old spot!), and 6 gacha tickets tonight. Haven't cashed in the gacha, but it's going to be 6 white scrolls, trust me on this.

 

Today's progress! I bought a 14TMA earring for 20m



I was going to offer 15m for it but the shop owner wasn't on, and more int sooner = more exp faster, so I just ended up buying it.

Did another couple hours at ghost ship, got to 55, and then did another 70% after that.



Yay~ Next goal is zhelm and deputy star. Getting close to the weekend, so maybe I'll start working on zakum quests soon.

 

+3 levels gained today. 58 now!



Picked up a decent overall, so might try to sell this. Feels like a shame to NPC it, even though it's a luk robe. Aside from that, not much of mention. A few gacha tickets (6 I think?) but I haven't cashed them in yet. Oh right, I didn't follow up on post #11 yet - no white scrolls last time... I feel scammed ;__;

 

I said I would get a Zhelm on the weekend, so naturally I procrastinated again and did not get one.

Instead I leveled up

And then even more!!



Currently up to 67, might try to finish up 68 tonight if I can. Aside from that, I also picked up a few more upgrades. Found a perfect m atk wisdom staff for 5m, so I bought that and scrolled it. Landed 4 60s, so that became my new weapon at 64.



Wanted to upgrade my glove, since I was currently only 5 TMA on it. Now 10 TMA, though I had to really scrounge up for it. Only 20k left after!



But it's all good, managed to gacha a perfect clean wand 7 (both the m atk and luk!), so I should make it all back and more.



Priesthood soon?! Also I joined a guild. Shout out to Kargo , the coolest mob in Sleepywood

 

Last minute post before bed, got to 68 tonight, and picked up a small cape upgrade (7 --> 11 int) for 10m

 

Updates from last night, hit level 69. Nice.



Went to the FM after that to have a look around, and already found a replacement for my new YAC. 13 TMA PUAC for 2m, yay!



Slight regret for spending 10m on YAC now since it could have been used somewhere else but whatever, I'll just keep it for HP washing another char later. Speaking of, new purchase this morning for future use - 5 int yellow umbrella for 2m. Level 40 weapon so not ideal but if I find something better before I actually start leeching my other chars I don't think I'll lose money on it either.

 

I decided to try nightghosts since I heard they could be good mesos. It was pretty horrible, so I probably will never try this place again without Genesis, but I did pick up the cards from them and the coolie zombies



Finished up level 70 at ghost ship! Onward to job advance!



Picked up a 3 int Purple Old Wisconsin on the cheap since it was missing a slot. Does what I need it to though, so I'll be using it until I get a boss helm, and then for int gearing other characters later.



I forgot to take the screenshot of the 3rd job advance, but just pretend there's one here. After that, I figured I'd drop by Ellin Forest and work on those quests for the ring. Picked up Tree Rod cards and did some of the quests. Will try to finish up the rest of the quests tomorrow before I head back to ghost ship.

-Completed Ellin forest quests and got my ring!
-Did Zakum quests finally, so I can get zhelm when it's convenient.
-Got flyeye set hunting for gold teeth.
-Started doing Korean Folk Town quests.
-Picked up 5-6 Aqua Road card sets
-The elewand 7 I gacha'd before sold finally for 53m! Good luck scrolling to whoever bought it~
-Currently level 71 60%

 

Got a bunch of stuff done today~. First off, picked up a small upgrade for 2m, +2 TMA.



Then I found this about a minute later, 5m +2 more TMA. I'll try to resell that shine wand for a bit more



Gained a couple levels at Ghost Ship, now level 74. Missed the level 74 screenshot, but here's the 73 one



Was going to stay longer but saw someone selling reg zhelm service so I picked that up for 8m. Got 16 int 17 luk on first loot, pretty nice. No Angel Ray book, but I can worry about that at 120 I guess.



Owled a deputy star after, picked one up for 20m. Pretty happy with that, since the last couple days I've only been seeing 25-28m stars.



Grabbed a smiling mask for the +8 speed, since it was cheap



Picked up a few other deals while I was browsing the FM. Got a couple overall luk scrolls for 100k, and a scrolled maple sword for 500k. Already resold those for 200k + 1.5m. Got a 7 att glove for 500k, planning to sell at 1.5m. Sniped a dex 60 for 800k to resell for 4m. Some miscellaneous weapon 60s to resell.

Anyway, it's late at night and time to make bad decisions and do some gambling. I'll get it on my first scroll no problem though.



...6 mage robes and 4 bathrobes later, at least I hit the average? Happy I didn't go broke for nothing at least, still have 8m left lol. I'll stay with this for now. Finally, I got T1 monster book ring today! T2 is quite a ways off so probably not going to work on that one quite yet, just passively collect cards as I'm passing through areas for now.



Checked an accuracy calculator, and looks like I can 100% hit black kents now. Might try those out tomorrow, or might go back to Ghost Ship, idk which yet. Leaning toward GS for the gacha/NX though.
