[Maple Simulator] Momiji Guide (+MapleStory: Design)

Decided to make this guide for people who are freaking over BannedStory’s sudden absence like I did.
This program is similar to BannedStory, so you guys should have no trouble using it other than a bit of the kanji/chinese characters. Thank you Poofcakes!

Please note, I am just translating this from Korean and have no skill with computers whatsoever, so if my guide doesn’t help you or something goes wrong--- GOOD LUCK! May God be with you. ;;

[Step 1] Download Momiji (.zip) and extract the file.

CLICK FOR DOWNLOAD LINK
I am going to assume you already have MapleLegends downloaded. If not, please click here.


If you did it correctly, it should give you folder and an .exe file like below.

[Step 2] Double click 'momiji.exe', and follow the process below.

This will pop up.


Click anywhere on the white space, and you will see this.


Find your MapleLegends folder, and click "OK".
**For this part, any MapleStory folder should be fine. Or so I've been told/tested.



If you did it correctly, you should see this.


Click the tiny 'o' at the bottom right corner, and wait for everything to load/download.

[Step 3] (If Momiji didn't open) Click momiji.exe to open!

If you did everything correctly, it should look something like this, and the rest should be self-explanatory!

I translated the categories to English, hid the non-v62 weapons (phantom's cane, etc), and enabled chairs. If you want your application to look like the screenshot below, you can replace your momijo.categories file with this one:

I've also looked into more technical (?) programs similar (Kagamia/WzComparerR2) but as it has a high probability of errors due to various types of MapleStory files and versions, etc.
I'm afraid I will not be translating them as I will be unable to help if there are any errors.

If there are many requests for a translated guide for the installation process, I will do so, but for now I will just leave the above link up!

Oh, I got this before as well. Maybe you're selecting the Character folder within the MapleLegends folder, and not just the base MapleLegends folder itself?

 

Thank you! I think the program is self-explanatory though, so even if people can't read the kanji/chinese characters it should be fine! ^^

If you're talking about the same error/MapleStory files as AA Ham: Here are the files they re-downloaded from MapleStory.
If the given link doesn't work, I'm sorry but I don't know how to help you;; and you will probably have to download MapleStory and dig through the files!
