I still think BM dropped to C tier, bucc only holding onto B out of neccesity for TL

 

i duo attacked at pb today with c and d tier job, and this thread is correct!
(maybe my skill issue)

 

All 3 mages ranked way too low.

 

Keep heroes on F tier forever so we can keep being the best class quietly

Best end-game bosser? Just generally... overall?

 

Rate each class based on each unique bosses and add “farming” as a tier too. If needed give a score to each bosses and justify the weightage and add them up for an overall score. You might be surprised by the results (shad imo will still be top)

 

Are we taking into account the importance of content? For example, it's very important to be good in Pink Bean, but no one cares about your Ravana clear time. Are we accounting for the value of exp? Ex: Being good in Nameless produces some good exp, but the content itself isn't as profitable as being good at Core, PB, etc.

It's an entertaining discussion, but for the results to be meaningful it may require a reduced scope.

I'm pretty curious why shadowers are now S tier? Was the damage buff they received that significant?

 

the buffs shads got pushed them straight into the top ranks, they're arguably over-buffed but it's too late to revert now without intense backlash

 

I think it would be feasible to build out a "tier list" for each boss. Then, allow the individual to determine the weight of each type of content in their evaluation. Player by player, I can see a large variance is players that want to optimize around solo-farming vs. leveling speed vs. different types of content.

Would this be a fun exercise? I started a super rough draft in order to see if this perspective is even a useful way to compare the classes....

At a very high level this could be an interesting way to compare class viability.

with a chart like this there's really only 3-4 relevant bosses, with PB of course weighing close to double the value of any others

mm is also probably in A-S tier for ephenia aswell since their snipe doesn't suffering from damage reduction

 

Totally agree, there's only single digit number of content types where being "good at" really means something. I don't really care how well a certain class performs in Scar/Targa

 

Anything with an element paladins still dominate whether you have 100% uptime or not. They remain blatantly over tuned as a class
