Information MapleLegends Coupon Codes

Hi,

You may have noticed that since the start of Christmas we've been giving out random coupon codes. Let's explain how they work.

Coupon codes were originally codes that Neckson printed on their NX cards. You bought a card, get the code, and redeem them.

In MapleLegends they will be used for different things. This includes random giveaways, promo codes, or even rewards.

The improved coupon system currently supports the following:

- Giving specific amount of Vote Cash
- Giving specific amount Donor Cash
- Giving specific amount Game Cash
- Giving specific item

All of that can be included in a coupon code. However, so far we've only used it for Vote Cash, and it's unlikely the donor cash one will be used often.

One thing you should know is that only one person can redeem a specific code. That means that if a code gets announced, the first and quickest person gets the reward. Public announced codes are generally small and just for fun. It gets logged who got it, and so far I've been announcing also who got it.

How to redeem a code?

First go to Cash Shop.

Now on the bottom of the Cash Shop you'll notice this small button you've likely never pressed before:


Clicking on it will pop up a new window:


This is where you should be quick and enter the code. If you've succeeded, you will receive a message:


If you are too late, you will receive a rejection:


We are not sure yet how far we'll use the coupon system, but we hope this explains it enough to participate in quick giveaways. I have also some ideas for the future, but that will be provided if we got to it.
