Windows 8/8.1/10 Maplelegends Lagging Terribly

    Hi all.. not sure why my client is lagging so terribly.
    It’s the same issue on both my PC which I’ve been playing smoothly for 6 months, and also my laptop which has also been used occasionally.

    Tried reinstalling the game, to no avail.

    turned off mesh in the room as I thought when it was switching it made me DC?

    It works fine on my phone hotspot. My wifi works well for everything else Dota 2 etc.

    Have you tried using a VPN and see if it still happens?

    Hello Kimmy, Thank you for getting back.

    I've tried using Proton VPN, the free version. And the game doesn't work at all with it. It works fine on my hotspot for some reason? EVERYTHING else works while im on my internet, but the game seems to have an issue? T_T

    Hi guys. Just wanted to share this. Was incredibly frustruating. Turned out to really be a game issue. Finally met someone in the game who suggested using PrivadoVPN - it has 10GB free a month. And she said to connect specifically to Netherlands? Which I did. And it works perfectly well. It's been 3-4 days. Smooooth. Subscribed to their 15 month plan for $20 or something like that. Phew. @gms please fix the fault. Other players in SG/MY are saying it's laggy too. ):

    The fact that it's fixable by using a VPN doesn't mean it's an error on the server's end. Quite the contrary if anything :')

    Unfortunately there's nothing ML staff team can do on wire route between you and ML server. Yes, they aren't illuminati. Your video looked like you were having connection issue with ML server, in that case, if it happens on EVERY players, it's servers fault, but if it happens on certain location players (or only you), it's mostly your issue.

    Glad that VPN worked well.

    As mentioned other players in SG/MY are facing the same issue as well. So just thought i'd share the solution that worked for me.

    Haha yea, it was all fine till about a month plus ago? Not sure whats up, don't know how servers etc work. I've been having it really badly, with others having it still playable, just will dc with CC-ing etc.

    Oh well who knows. May the server gods be good to us, haha.

    I've been having the same issue since the 31st of June (Based in Western Australia). Prior to that I've never had any problems with ML. Mudfish immediately solved the problem so clearly a routing issue.. Would still be nice if it somehow fixes itself in the future!

    Oh I didn't mean to imply the fault was on your end. I meant that it's probably a routing issue between SG/MY/Aus on one hand and the server on the other hand. Unfortunately there's not really anything the server can do to resolve that. Happy the vpn worked though!

    Awesome! Again, mentioning the solution that PRIVADO VPN worked perfectly for me! I'm in Singapore and I connected to Japan, and the speed seems to be the fastest. 10GB free for each month, but I subscribed. This is not promotion! Just really wanna help whoever is facing the same problems. I really touched grass and touched bed for the 1-2 months and I was MISERABLE. I WANTED TO PLAY!!! And I can do so now. :)
