My Maple Journal (inspired by Skuire)

Day 666 (end):

Well it's been a fun journey but I think it's time to move on. This will be a disorganized post on thoughts on the last couple of years.

Reasons for starting ML:
Stress reliever/routine establisher during Optometry school
Nostalgia
Helping with goal setting and perseverance (choosing tough/less meta classes)

Reasons for stopping ML:
Out of school for 3 years now, life is chill but now it's too chill/repetitive
Nostalgia pretty much depleted
Beginning to feel like a daily chore and doesn't feel like there's much more to learn
Lots of reading on existentialism and time as the most valuable asset

Notes on AndMyAxe:
Lots of hero guides out there so no need to provide SP build

Axe hero pros:
Dirt cheap scrolling/weapons
Can hit big numbers with panic/coma

Axe hero cons:
Damage is not consistent so will underperform sword heroes with similar stats

Hypothesis: axe hero should prioritize panic/coma over brandish, need a successor to test that out

Skill tips:
Jump while using monster magnet (level 21 for max range), seems it works better for me for some reason
Guardian is a amazing skill, 20% chance of taking no damage
Armor crash now a useful skill for certain bosses

Macros:
(each skill is 200 seconds so set as @epm 3 to know when to refresh once epm info pops up)
(power guard is 120 seconds so set as @dpm 2 to know when to refresh once dpm info pops up)
(alternative way to refresh power guard, enrage has no lag)
(self-explanatory, panic/coma to do big damage and brandish to replenish orbs)
Hold panic/brandish/brandish macro for two cycles, replenish leftover orbs with just brandish, repeat

HP stuff:
Add fresh AP to HP (screwed that up badly lol)
Tanking body of anything using power elixirs + max pet auto HP: 300 PE = 10 minutes of easy surviving (don't generalize to all classes, just heroes with guardian)

Main journey takeaways:
Slow and steady creates perseverance so enjoy the grind
Exploring leads to useful discoveries
Risk taking is necessary but always have low expectations to avoid disappointment/frustration

Next step:
Obtaining more "firsts" in my life (first trip to South America, first successful planche, etc)
Continue to refine my stock options trading strategy
Plan out what I want to accomplish during my 30s
