After running it as administrator, I get an Application Error:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000906). Click OK to close the application"
Tried reinstalling it and it still doesn't work.

Same problem, and after i try to open it couple times more it turns to missing ijl15.dll error message.
tried to download the dll manually and place it inside the folder, and then it shows "We are unable to connect to MapleLegends. Please check the MapleLegends homepage for ongoing server checks and updates."

Please help i want to get good place in fm for my store

The (0xc0000906) error has the same solution as the missing ijl15.dll error.

You need to add the MapleLegendsHD folder as an exclusion to any antivirus programs you may have, including Windows Defender.

Start -> Settings -> Updates & security -> Windows security -> Virus & threat protection
Select "Manage" under "Virus & threat protection settings"
Select "Add or remove exclusions" under "Exclusions"
    Select "Add an exclusion"
Navigate to the "MapleLegendsHD" folder, it'll cover all the files inside it (if you don't know where the path to the folder is, right click the client and select "open file location") You can also just select the "ijl15.dll" file as that is the false positive getting flagged.

    Hi infctD,
I may know the problem why your ijl15.dll file always go missing. This is because your firewall recognizes this ijl15.dll as a Trojan horse (Its new and packed and no marker...). The solution is that you have to set an exception for the file in your anti-virus firewall.

Are you still experiencing the (0xc0000906) Application error? Without more information I can only assume you either didn't add the exception properly, have a third party antivirus that's interfering, or you still need to re-extract the ijl15.dll file from the Client_Backup.zip within the MapleLegendsHD folder.

    Please double check the following:

    • You properly added the exclusion to Windows Defender for exactly the "MapleLegendsHD" folder, not the client or any other path. It should look like the following:

    • Check if it's being held by the Current threats in your Virus & threat protection. If you see it there, select keep and allow.

    • Make sure that you do not have a third party antivirus program on your computer, other than Windows Defender, that could potentially be deleting or quarantining the ijl15.dll file. Programs like Avast, McAfee, AVG and Malwarebytes for example. If you have one you must also make an exclusion for the folder and add it to the Whitelist within the program.

    • After you are sure all of the exclusions are set, you should only re-extract the file then. Otherwise it will keep being removed and the client cannot work without the file.
