Anyone know why ML will only launch from desktop and not the Applications folder?

 

This worked for me too!!! I did have to restart my computer after refreshing the wrapper but once I did and right clicked MapleLegends, I got in perfectly fine! Thanks, Ameh!! You're awesome!

 

As beautiful as the HD client is, my screen (13") is too small to enjoy it for a long period of time. So what I usually do is to switch back to classic 800x600, and set the Display Resolution on Mac to 1024x768 so that it's scaled to almost full screen

 

My issue has to do with Xquartz not opening and when I click for MapleLegends to open, Xquartz just sits there on the dock for a second and then closes. When I did a test run with wine it said I didn't own the application, and when I attempted to change the engine to the latest version of Wine with the Winery, a whole bunch of errors pop up sharing why it cannot change the engine. I'm at a loss. I'm going to attempt to redownload for the 7th time, and use the "set screen options" troubleshooting advice, but don't believe that is my problem. We'll see.

 

Have you tried the refresh wrapper method above or switched Drivers from X11 to Mac?

 

Yes, I have tried every method on every thread about Mac troubleshooting :/ These are the errors that pop up

 

Hi, do we have any plans currently to make the client work on Catalina without downgrade or VM? I accidentally upgraded to Catalina and don't feel like going through the process of downgrading. VM are also expensive.. So I just want to know if anyone is currently working on making it work? Thank you!

 

As far as I know, Catalina disabled support for 32 bit threads, so it won't work even if the ML staff tried. The only option is downgrading or dual booting or bootcamping your Mac machine.

It looks like a permission error, could you send me a PM and give me more information on how and what exactly you're doing so I can help you debug what's going on?

We can't make it work on catalina because apple disabled 32 bit support. You either need to downgrade or use a VM, which is outside of our support scope.

 

Hi - I used to be able to run this but for some reason it won't work now. I'm on OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), and after I install the application it shows the default art stand logo rather than the mushroom, and nothing seems to happen when I open it. Do you know what might be causing this?

 

even in lowest quality settings, any mac users feeling the:
- drop in FPS compared to the prev client
- worse latency than prev client

*also, Asia Server farm when? haha =3

Hey Guys, I'm new around here.
Quick question about the message in the first page of this tread (Posted in 2018). Did you guys update the cover message saying that it is not compatible to Catalina or does is the version released February 17th, 2020 working on Catalina?

Hi, ML is still not compatible with Catalina since they removed 32 bit support. ML can't do anything about it until Wine begins releasing 64 bit support so unfortunately the latest patch still doesn't support Catalina.

Hey is my Mac version considered "old" and i have to do it that way? it says mine is OS X El Capitan Version -10.11.6
i haven't been able to get it to work since before the Valentines event, thank you in advance

 

Hi, I'm new here and I'm trying to install this game on my mac (Mojave 10.14.6).

When I double click the application nothing happens.
When I go into Package Content and try to change the screen options in Wineskin I'm not able to change from Mac Driver to X11.

I don´t know what else to do.

I duplicated the client and tried to adjust the screen option but nothing happened.

Ive just downloaded the latest client and duplicated it, problem solved. Thanks
