It’s 2026, and Pasta keeps growing stronger. We have more characters, better gear, new members, and it just keeps going. Pasta continues to exist adapting to shifting metas and sustaining multiple runs, regardless of which member is present or absent.

Not long ago, continuity without specific individuals would have been hard to imagine. And yet, every time someone leaves, someone new is welcomed—not as a successor, but as a source of new dynamics and attitudes. That renewal is needed and isn’t accidental. Pasta’s application process is deliberately hard and selective, but precisely because of that, new members arrive already aligned with the guild’s mindset. Once inside, they aren’t treated as outsiders to be tested, but are embraced as part of the whole.

Pasta doesn’t operate like a classical guild with a throne at the center, the kind that collapses when one or two individuals disappear. It survives because of everyone who passed through it—the old names who laid the patterns, the ones who burned out or got erased, and the new arrivals who keep the guild from freezing in time—each of them necessary, none of them permanent.

1. What did you achieve this year?

Shadower Progression:

This project finally came into form in 2025. I started this project originally back in 2023 before I joined Pasta, even with my multi-NL projects in full force. I’ve always had a fascination of finding ways to make off-meta/suboptimal strategies work (RIP NT factory, thanks Gurk), so Shadowers were a natural landing spot.

In 2024 I focused a lot on community but in 2025 I didn’t have much time or inspiration to schedule content, so my playtime was very sporadic. I did Zakum when I could, took a month long hiatus during the Anniversary balance patch fiasco, and mostly stopped running daily content around September.

Here are my Zakum stats for 2025:

• 426 Zakum runs
• 183 pouches - 43.19% drop rate
• 2769 coins earned
• Average run time: 21.1 mins - 8,988 minutes running Zakum, or ~150 hours.

In the end, my speedrun record closed out to sub-17 (9/21/25)

I tried BGA but found it to be too unstable to run daily so I retired that after 24 runs. It’s good content, just not polished enough IMO.

Now a days I just run random content on my main shad, knovv. Been running Auf with Basement guild and it’s been fun. Shoutout to my bucketheads.

New Bishop Progression:

Most of my infrastructure projects are now closed, but in 2025 I was able to bring another beginner bishop/mw30 mule online to PB levels.

3. What is your message to the community?

This game and community seems trivial at first glance - it’s just a silly mushroom game - but there are subtle things we often take for granted that impart on us as people even after we take our leave from the game. While I don’t really play this game as fervently as I used to - we’re all so much older now, many of us in different stages of life with different responsibilities than we had when we first stumbled upon this server - I will cherish the time I’ve spent here and the friendships I’ve made through the thousands of hours spent in conversation on forums, discord, or in-game. I hope that others can continue to experience the same joy.

1. What did you achieve this year?

• Despite being in Asia and not playing for ~6 months, I was able to level several Timeless Bows / Claws, after I hit a +8+8 claw, I proceeded to WS it and finished in December.

• Much earlier in the year I bought a 16 atk + 5 Purple PAC, I would like to end on a 17 or 19 (8 is ugly #) but the market supply isn’t there and I’m pretty particular on wanting a +5 Purple.

​

• I also got Ephenia rings for both my BM & NL, Bishop is currently at ⅔ and hopefully will finish over the next week or two. I really despise this content, and hope the MapleLegends team considered changing rates / etcs needed, as I don’t think it’s ever worth it to complete, or fun.

​

• I purchased a 5 atk FS to solve any overdex issues, I also scrolled a 18/44 AUF helm on NL which I will probably keep until either AUF is changed or I have infinite Luk scrolls. I’m looking to upgrade to 9/10 +5 Purple and already have the majority of coins needed for it should one pop up.

​

• I improved my infrastructure significantly, getting my 2nd NL online, as well as a washed Bishop for PB, I have other chars as well that are ready but these two are the focus.

​

2. What are your goals for 2026?

• Including what was mentioned above, I would like to round out my gear and hit what I deem to be near soft-cap (where the marginal cost of 1 attack upgrade exceeds 1k coins), I’m currently quite close, and after the Pac + FS upgrade, which I already have coins for, should be basically there, and =>50 CGS.

Following that for gear:

• Upgrade my TLP (I had a 51 that I CSed that went negative, ideally I’d like >55 but have been getting really bad Pendant levels.

• Get MW30 on either NL or Bish fuck u akash

​

• Purchase 9-12 Dex eye

• Maybeeee make an EP (this is awkward since I can’t use a LUK scrolled one on both BM + NL.

In terms of infrastructure / gameplay:

• I’d like to level my 2nd NL and begin to HT / PB on it.

• Should Von Leon be released and be a challenging boss (takes weeks for first clear), I would like to be on the first squad that clears it.

• Hit 14/ 5 6 :^) PB dpm on NL (I think I can already do this, as I’ve gotten close even prior to claw upgrades with suboptimal runs / setups. I also have 11 levels which would increase DPM drastically, especially on apple. I’m quite curious to see how far I could push DPM once I get 200.

A year ago I was..

In reality I’ve achieved a ton over the last year. In January my first mages were just coming online, and I had just finished scrolling my 143 NT bow, only to shortly after sell it and go into a complete rebuild that would take me almost a year to complete.

​

Since then I’ve upgraded from a 10 cape to a 17 Att, 143 NT Bow to my completed 152 Timeless Engaw, a ton of stat gear increases with 4->17 stat specs, 15->20 dex earrings, 7->13 Dex, 23 Stat Timeless to a 7 Att Facestomper, 21 avoid face, as well as finishing a 22/47 Auf Helm on Sweatz and a 47 Int Auf Helm on Dexedrine, my bishop.

​

I’ve also gotten Mw30 on Sweatz, and moved from an archer with 450 int to level 189, and 9.549m dpm recorded in Horntail, just short of the 10m dpm goal I was aiming for when I created this archer.

My farm and infrastructure has come leaps ahead over the year with the remainder of my mages and sweepers maturing soon into Pink bean, and maxing out the efficiency possible within my setup. My 2nd NL is also now 155 and able to wash out for 30k/11k @180. He has been leeched almost entirely just from the farm for level 82+
​

2. What are your goals for 2026?

I want a few things out of 2026, although I plan on stepping away from the game more in the warmer months.

1. Buy or scroll 10 att or better Facestompers
2. Pass Mw30 on atleast one of my bishops
3. Buy or scroll a 23+ potential glove
4. 12/5 dpm in Pink Bean, and 10m+ dpm in Horntail
5. Possibly revamp my farm to open two more bishops.. -to be determined depending on balance changes/nerfs to come
6. Learn to enjoy life a little bit more
7. Buy my first house

3. What is your message to the community?

Whether your goals are something simple like Tier 10, or something difficult like white scrolling your first weapon, realize things are actually achievable although maybe not in your current setup.

I didn’t expect to be where I am now for my characters, yet I have a long way to go. With enough persistence you can obtain whatever it is you’re aiming for, just keep working at it.​

Been in pasta basically a year now, this will be my first Pasta Recap. Will take the opportunity to document where my progression currently stands, and maybe compare to next year’s Recap to see what we achieved.

Rolled people and won while being retired. Ended up making some more mages to farm, but didn’t really farm too much this year. I’ve still enjoyed being somewhat involved in the ML community even though I don’t play too much.

If you enjoy talking about the game, I’d recommend joining Pasta regardless of differences you may have. I’ve played a lot of servers and it’s hard to find an end game community that remains active for years. Enjoy the game and the community and see you in 2026~

1. What did you achieve this year?

I scrolled a 22 attack PGC, 33 stat element pierce (luk+dex), a 20 dex rat mouth, perfect red katinas and finished my shadower gearset, including a CS’d TLP, mediocre auf helmet, perfect NT dagger, and 40 attack dragon khanjar.

​

I also leveled my shadower mules to 175 and geared them to a budget level (~1k coin funding per shad)

Although i am currently not focusing on NL, i did also get some pog NL upgrades (TLP and helmet) on ZAGS

​

2. What are your goals for 2026?

In 2026, I want to explore use cases for my 6 shadowers and try to find creative ways to use them to make mesos. I want to try and emulate Soblet’s multishadower bossing setup and find new maps to multishad farm. I also want to try and chaos timeless pendants on these shadowers, as well as scroll decent auf helmets on each of them.

If your class sucks you can always make it better by multiclienting another 1 or more copies of said class.

1. What did you achieve this year?

Remember the goat​

At the start of this year, I was a fresh 4th job shadower with 450 int and only an HS mule as my infrastructure. My most valuable gear was my 13 att untradable OPQ glove. I was only a 5 month player at that point and the most people knew about me was being a carbon copy of one of the most accomplished shadowers on the server.


Now towards the end of the year and joining pasta (just over a year since I started Legends and being denied for my first app in ), I’ve did my best to ramp up both my infrastructure and wealth:

​

• 180 Shad with 16k HP and 24k MP with 11 attack PGC and 14 attack glove

• 5 Other Shads that are 140+ and 30k HP potential each invested with a budget daggers ranging from 120 att - 126 att and dkhans averaging 27 att

The largest undertaking for my main was trying to finish a white scroll project on my NT dagger.I did my best to farm as best I could but could not finish before the year ended.

​

Current progress is 4/81 with my successes being at 1/28, 2/29, 3/51, and 4/68. I officially started this project on 22nd June meaning I have done ~0.4 WS everyday since. This doesn’t include my other upgrades I had to do for my other shadowers but this puts me at around ~12 ws a month for my income if we were to go by this. This is a bit on the lower side compared to many other people here but I think I did the best I could to make things work.

The other thing I accomplished was self leeching all my bandits to 4th job using my main shadower. This was highly inefficient and many people told me to throw in the towel, but I’m very happy that I went the way I did. I didn’t wanna buy leech and I didn’t wanna further invest into a class I didn’t know (I was hammered to turn my HS mule into a proper bishop). All of them have 3 broken glasses as I soloed LPQ and EPQ with them.

These shads currently support me with farming as basically the only reason I’m able to break past single client mage income.


2. What are your goals for 2026?

​

My goal next year is pretty simple, non negotiables are the following:

• Finish my NT Dagger
• Create a 40+ att Dkhanjar
• At least a +8 Auf Helm
• 21 BWG
• Get my current shad roster to PB/BGA Level
• 4.5m body on PB

Beyond that, I believe I will want to expand my shad roster for shads7-11/12. I cannot compete with others to become the strongest shad (I sure will try even if it’s a losing battle), so the way forward is to just keep making more shadowers. These will of course be shad leeched and self leeched and I’m obviously gonna swing by LPQ. Any excuse to do some solo PQs is a good time.

I’d like to explore bossing a bit more as well to see if the solo multishad is actually any fun profits aside. And of course, some single client shad bossing like Pink Bean, Auf, and

Von Leon (maybe?)​

3. What is your message to the community?

Remember that this game should be fun. Whether you’re a mage hitting skeles/petris, a pally carrying your duo through NT, a FM roller, or a multiclient farming degenerate, you should be enjoying your time here. We aren’t here forever, so just have fun.

1. What did you achieve this year?

This year primarily focuses on upgrading my main Bishop’s gears and building my infrastructure for end game content such as Pink Bean, Horntail, and Auf Heben. Throughout the first quarter of the year, I was able to finish my Elemental Wand and successfully pass MW30 on my first try. I was also able to purchase an Element Pierce +2 and 5 slots from a fellow guildmate and make a small upgrade to my cape.

​

The next quarter of the year looks at building my infrastructure and so far the new characters I have progressed this year are 2 Bishops, 1 Shadower, 1 Hero, 1 F/P Mage, 1 Paladin, and 1 upcoming Dark Knight. The purpose of this infrastructure is to be multi efficient when it comes to bossing. At times when I am needed for Horntail, I prefer to use my Bishop, Shadower, and Buccaneer for a much faster/smoother run.

​

The third quarter of this year focuses on investment in multi-attack gears. My multi-attack gears for cape and glove consist of:

• 11 att PGC, 14 att YM (Main gear)
• 8 att PGC, 12 att GM
• 7 att PAC, 12 att GM
• 7 att PAC, 12 att GM
• 7 att PAC, 12 att GM

The estimated cost I have invested this year on my multi-attackers is roughly under 1000c (excluding main gear).

The last quarter of 2025 focuses on attempting to perfect my Element Pierce. Currently I am at 2/9ws as I purchased this item when it was scrolled with (2) 30% scrolls. I hope to finish this project throughout 2026 and hopefully finish my brown work gloves that I have purchased in 2024.

Personal Achievements

This year I have accomplished some personal records as a main Bishop. I personally feel like Bishops are very underrated and not appreciated enough by players but nevertheless I still enjoy my role as a Support. This allows me to feel useful without needing to put in insane dpm. However, I do like to test my limits as this would prove that mages are unique in their own way. Lastly, I would like to thank players such as Potsticker, uTaro, leetoratto, Alaei, Cuzzo, hyeri69, Jeesoo, Gurk, Alyosha, PaulsNL, Legoshi420, untrue, Joei, aSix, Fara, Sexiest, sh0ts, qwerty31, Xyrin, and Pikaqiu and everyone on my buddy list that has made my 2025 in MapleLegends a blast. Gear upgrades
November 3rd i traded in my 12/86 craven i scrolled in 2024 (2400coins prod. cost) + 2300coins for a 15/92 NT Claw. The 1.2k “debt” was only waiting for interbank transfer to resolve and withdraw my BurningPB balance. It got cleared on the following day.

1st of december i bought a 9/2 Specs for 450c which net a total of +85 max range on fara unbuffed. While not that impressive it’s a relatively cheap upgrade for her.

1. What did you achieve this year?

• Stopped focus on ints to buy/make a real set of attack gear, so my ints haven’t changed at all

• Sold 118 Dragonfire Revolver and 13 attack cape, used the proceeds to buy a 16 attack cape and 6 attack stomper

• Bought an 8/5 BWG, went 1 out of 4 on personal scrolling and 4 out of 55 on WS10 100% services. Now rocking 23 attack glove :^)

• Been mostly working on a Shadower, managed to get him to 167. Scrolled a 32/1 Dragon Khanjar after a random Bergamot drop, immediately followed by making a 1/13 luk earring from a nibergen drop

• Did a load of HT to get the third bishop up, managed to get him to 179, allowing me to run 4 PBs a week for the bulk of my income.

Maybe back to ints, maybe a dagger, for now I probably go back to saving until I do something dumb with the money

• I somehow managed to scam my way into Pasta being the poorest of them all.
• BimboNL and BimboBS are finally PB ready and super thick too!
• Completed my first 12, 18, 20 and 24man PB, also was a lead bishop for a 30man.

I’ve been on this game for almost a decade, and yeah - it can make you jaded. What keeps me going isn’t hype or wins anymore. It’s the quiet belief that effort compounds, even when progress isn’t obvious. I carry on because stagnation feels heavier than trying, and because becoming someone a little stronger, clearer, or kinder than yesterday still matters to me.

Even when the spark dims, some people are homies that transcends the game - and that’s what keeps me around.

1. What did you achieve this year?

This year I intended to work on horizontal gear upgrades and get into dual attacking. Sadly I didn’t have much time to play due to real life obligations so I didn’t level up my second attacker as much as I wanted.

I realised that I still enjoy playing single client shad a lot so I kept funding it instead of my second attacker.

Throughout 2025 I significantly improved my PB dpm through gear upgrades and better gameplay. Prior to 2025 I’ve done 5 PB runs so I had a lot of room to learn.

2. What are your goals for 2026?

My goal for 2026 is to keep improving my shad and to start dual attacking at NT. I try not to set specific dpm goals for my shad as future dpm is mostly in the hands of the balance team.​

3. What is your message to the community?

I joined Pasta in January and I’m really enjoying it though I’m not as active as I’d like to be.

I’ve found that Pasta is a really fun and welcoming place. I would encourage anyone who’s striving for greatness in ML to apply.

1. What did you achieve this year?

General

Applied to Pasta in early January, got denied.

Started my multimage setup in January.

​

Multimage has been a great new way to play the game for me after grinding so much single client HT and Auf. The consistent earnings with a non-reliance on other players has been great for my inconsistent play schedule. Once my mages were leeched up, there was options overload on what to do. Here was my path:

• Multimage Homunculus, be amazed at earnings
• Get memed by clam and others for not valuing mage exp
• Seeing the light and did 1x Vikerola, 1x Gallopera
• Did 2x Vikerola ccing every 15 minutes to rebuff MW30 with a 4 mage 1 sweeper party
• Get higher levels + more gear + brought Paladin sweeper online
• Have been consistently doing 1x Ulu2 + 1x Vikerola with leech

Currently raising up Bishop5 and Bishop6 to expand my farm, eventually turn into 3x Bishop PB setup, and just exploring solo mage bossing.


Applied to Pasta again and was accepted in July.

• Finished my first perfect weapon a few weeks after (scrolled 4 30%s and bought 3 WS10 service from Akash since I was 0/23 on another project and mentally didn't want to go Regrets way).

• Upgraded 12-15 Cape

• Quad maged farm and grinded bosses to buy 9FS (old market price ‍)

• Hit level 200 on Buccaneer

• Hosted multiple aufs, sold service, and hit one of the fastest 5-man no-appo runs

• My wife's due date is exactly 1 year after I joined pasta(just noticed creating this recap). So my first goal is to be a good dad, keep working out, and hit 240-250kg DL.

• In ML, I hope not to be sleepy enough and buy perfect craven and eventually upgrade to perf NT claw, upgrade to 16-17 cape, and start saving for a glove project.

• I also started leeching a new pally and shad, and I hope to start playing pally this year and solo NT content (hero + bucc + pally + NL + se mule + bish mule)

gotta blend ML with real-life activities. Don't get burnt out of content/farming. Small activities, or breaks in real life, can actually make you miss the game and enjoy it better.

I stopped playing, but it took quite a lot of external force for it. Elaborated below:

1. I moved to the other side of the world, avg 13h flight away from home
2. I’ve gotten a bad RSI in my wrists from a previous workplace which makes it very hard for me to use keyboard and mouse for games for more than like 30 minutes at a time. I’ve also had to focus on seeking alternative employment options as I’m a video editor for a living and I can’t really do that anymore due to the wrist issues. This isn’t a sob story, I want yall to really pay attention to your posture, and ergonomical health while you play - that shits gonna bite you in the ASS eventually (see also: when you’re 30) so stay active, stretch, and take breaks.
3. I didn’t divulge into too much detail about all this, and haven’t even properly said I quit at any point because I don’t wanna make this a sob story about how I rly want to keep playing LOL, but that’s not the focus. Also I’m the type to “never say never” so idk if I might still be able to play again some day.

I still try to pop in and say hi once in a while, and have been still running PB weekly until not too long ago.

GEAR PROGRESS
Nightz slammed a single ws10 on my +6 1 slot Wand 8 I’ve been working on for 46 white scrolls now, and finished it. So other than Nightz himself, I finally possess a perfect wand 8 - and him finishing it is honestly the best ending to that journey I could have asked for. The only other brave soul to see what IL can be about.
