    I feel this might be an already widely-known trick, but a couple friends said they never knew about this, so I thought I'd share ^^

    It seems pets will also inherit the non-slip effect of any snowshoes, and will actually benefit quite well from it, as their targeting seems to be immediate, and only thing slowing them down would be their turn rate and acceleration times.

    Having the shoes on eliminates these slowdowns.

    This is one of the reasons why I keep using Yellow Snowshoes, it benefits the player and pets in all terrain. Grip > Stats. IMO!

    Not having the extra grip just feels wrong, I hope we can sometime get the scrolls to put spikes on any shoe.

    Yea it makes reverse jumpcasting a bit harder but it's rarely useful anyway for most jobs.
