Removal of [1st Job] Congratulations

I like it, it has its uses like for Dulce to tell warriors they made a mistake, or for Hogwarts to do their recruitment. Anywho, I'm pretty used to not having a chat anyways, right deribou ?

 

I agree it does get annoying since getting to level 10 is pretty easy. I however really like 2nd, 3rd, and 4th job announcements since those actually take some effort and it's fun congratulating people!

I like it. Lets the new players feel good and it makes them feel hopeful before sending them out for the grind. I don't feel like it's too obtrusive, I haven't found that it has been too frequent to a point that it would be annoying, at least personally.

 

I personally dislike all of the announcements for the job advancements. I just feel like it really takes away from the special element the level 200 announcement has.

As for seeing new players join the server etc, I'd rather just see a "Welcome [insert name] to the server" or something for the 1st character made on a acc.

Especially the part about the funny names

 

1st job adv smega is best way to introduce new players/ new chars to the server.
From my own experience I can tell that getting few whispers with "grats", "welcome" and "looking for guild?" at level 10 is something that made me like this server at 1st place. It also shows how friendly and welcoming this community is.
Keep it as it is

 

Gotta say I like them. They do show a lot, but when I reached level 10 on my first character, I got whispered several congratulations.
To me, that was enough to make me stay longer. (lvl 47 now)

 

I like them, it's nice to see other people making achievements, I feel less alone. Like the community is there even when I am alone on a map.

 

In my opinion there are too many 1st job notifications in a day.
It makes it really difficult to distinguish this from GM announcements.

I'd suggest a toggle, like you'd do for smega. Although I'm not bothered by the further advanced jobs, it's specifically first job that has become a spam.

this server has become very active and many people make new mules everyday, you can imagine how often that message would appear. I'm not congratulating any of them, because obviously first job isn't that special or worth to waste my time on. Other than that I don't know what the purpose is of the announcement if no one is going to pay attention to it anymore other than seeing it as spam.

I think this request should be reconsidered, perhaps a toggle specifically for first job notifications.

 

Omgg YESS!! I didn't know you could put this into words!! I definitely feel less alone to see that others are achieving job advancements and whatnot, and it just makes you feel good for them. Idk, but I just feel this little announcements exude so much positivity in our gameplay imo hehe

 

How about now? Saw that server just passed the 700 player mark and you can tell by the amount of 1st job spam.

 

I still enjoy seeing these new players name
