REMOVE RARE ITEM MESSAGE WHEN GETTING A WS ON GACHA

I actually don't like the rare item gacha messages. You see people getting awesome stuff every day all the time and then when you go to the gacha yourself and get shit items, it is extra disappointing because the messages skew your perception of how often you'll be able to get a super rare item.

 

I'm not sure if that message is entirely at fault though. There's lots of people stocking up white scrolls for either perf weapons (with the release of reverse/timeless) recently and also to hold them as another form of currency.

 

The change was added because users were purposely messaging new players trying to undercut or swindle them. Creates a bad playerbase and can make people quit.

 

A friend of mine had a non-English speaker tryin' to lowball her to hell by offerin' a mere 75 mil for her White Scroll when she got it and the message was shown to the world. Of course that didn't work since we've been playin' together here for a good while to know the ins and outs of the game.

Yeah, ya know who ya are and ought to be ashame'd for pullin' this kind of lowly tactic!

 

I actually support the suggestion because rare item gacha shown everyone the IGN of the player.
As I got 2 rare items that been smegad scammers tried to buy me out with 60-75% of the real value of the item I got.
I think it may be better if player get GM private message to notice him he got rare item with a suggestion to owl before selling.
