Rollbacks do NOT affect Monster Card collections

Just thought I'd share this rollback experience. I was getting my Iron Hog, Iron Boar, and Cold Eye cards last night in that order. When I logged back in, I found myself back in the Iron Boar map. I checked my inventory and I only had drops from Iron Hogs and Iron Boars - no Cold Eye Tails. I also had completed the Eliminate the Tauromacis quest while collecting the Cold Eye cards before the rollback and now it shows I still need to kill the 30 Tauromacis again.

Oddly enough, my Monster Book shows I have all 5 cards of the Iron Boar and Cold Eye. While it's possible that the rollback went back to the exact moment or immediately thereafter of when I got my 5th Iron Boar card, I should have only 1 Cold Eye card (because I remember having only 1 before venturing down The Ant Hill to get the other 4), but it shows I have all 5!

I'm not sure if this is possible, but...maybe store information in the same place the Monster Card information is stored so as to safeguard against future rollbacks from an inconsiderate Host?
