A while ago I made a post about how buffering momentum cancels can be used by BMs to avoid falling down on the top right platform at HT, giving them the opportunity to focus mid head while the left head is cancelled. However the technique introduced in that post while albeit extremely useful, was too difficult for most people to do(as far as I know I'm the only one crazy enough to use that strat).
Here I introduce another useful piece of of HT tech which also involves buffering inputs, but is much easier, and applicable to multiple classes.

Let us start with this platform (the one I am standing on)

The goal is to be able attack on this platform without getting knocked off to the bottom. Now you might ask, why would this be useful? There are a couple situations where this is useful.

For ranged characters, this platform is particularly useful when the left head is weapon cancelled.
As you can see from the screenshot above, a character standing on the standard platform can have their attacks blocked when the left head ducks down. This is problematic when you are trying to focus on the left arm or an un-cancelled mid head.

However by using the lower platform, the attacks will not be blocked by the left head even when it ducks down.

Being able to stay on this platform is also useful for warriors, since they also stand on this platform to cleave in the begging of the run and later to attack the left arm. Of course warriors have 90% stance, but they can still get knocked down and be forced to waste time climbing up.

Alright, now that we have established that being able to stay on this platform is useful, how do we do it? The solution is actually quite simple. Note that there is a rope to the left of this platform. Normally when you get hit by HT, you will get knocked to the left and drop to the bottom. As you are getting knocked left you will pass through the rope. Since your character passes through this rope as you are falling, you can hold the up key input to grab the rope, preventing you from falling down. The nice thing is that you don't need to start holding up arrow as you get hit, you can simply just hold up arrow as you are attacking as it wont interrupt your attacks. So by holding up arrow as you are attacking you will buffer your character to grab the rope.

Once you get on the rope, do not bother climbing to the top and moving back to the lower platform. Instead simply jump from the top of the rope to the lower platform.
Once you land back on the platform simply start attacking again and repeat the process.

    To quickly reiterate the process,

Hold up arrow as you are attacking
    [IMG]
Get knocked leftwards by an attack while still holding up arrow
    [IMG]
Climb the rope to near the top and then jump from the rope onto the lower platform

This should be fairly simple to implement and is relatively useful (particularly for archers who had no good way of focusing the mid head from the left side), so hopefully this gets to see some usage.

EDIT: Note that this only works 100% of the time for BMs using hurricane and corsairs using rapid fire. For other classes if you get hit as you start an attack animation, it is possible to still be in lag from your attack animation as you fall through the rope, meaning your buffered input will not be active and you will not grab the rope.
