Completed Scheduled Maintenance - December 15, 2017

    THIS IS A PATCH MAINTENANCE. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GET THE LATEST VERSION OR ELSE YOU'LL DISCONNECT EVERYWHERE

    Hello Maplers,

    We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Friday December 15, 2017. It will last approximately 2~6 hours Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

    Time:
    6 PM UTC (Server time)

    What will be unavailable:
    • All MapleLegends game servers and channels
    Events
    • The release of Christmas 2017 Event (Details at maintenance)
    • +15% EXP, Mesos, and drops during whole Christmas
    Client Changes
    • Minor internal changes that should revert game bootup speed back to normal
    General Changes
    • Cash Gachapon level requirement increased from 45 to 50
    • Aggro changes will be reverted
    • Tweaked the 'Deal damage' autoban
    • Tweaked the 'Incorrect timestamp item pickup' auto ban
    • 1 new MapleTV animation created by YozichYozich for Christmas
    • Christmas Free Market returns once again which is created by SlimeSlime
    • New GTOP banner created by YozichYozich for Christmas (already applied)
    • More things may be added
    Installer changes:
    • Both MapleLegends and MapleLegendsWindowed now automatically apply 98/me compatibility on Windows 8 and above, instead of the main client only previously.
    • Both MapleLegends and MapleLegendsWindowed now creates a desktop shortcut, instead of only the main client previously.
    This is a patch maintenance and new files will be made available. You need to download them in order to play.

    Patch files

    A patcher will be made available for all Windows users. This patcher will be very user friendly and should not error out (unless anti-virus). Simply double clicking it, and patch away. No JAVA is required anymore.

    More things may be added to list before end of maintenance.

    This really doesn't change all that much; Gachapon should not be ''the'' way to get money and gear up for new people.
    Considering how long you've been around, I'd assume your character is above level 45! ;)

    I've just come back from a long break, my main is 38 with 40%. I bought the gachapon tickets without looking at the level req and thought "eh, that's not so bad " but now 50 seems like a stretch.

    35-50 goes super fast, just lpq a bunch. its entertaining, you can make some small money from its equips and scrolls, and youll meet a bunch of cool people. you could get thru it fairly quick

    In all seriousness -- the XMAS event has a bonus +15% exp and most likely will have a few GM buffs of 150% exp lasting 1 hour!!! ITS GOING TO BE AWESOMEEEEE :DD Don't forget to fight the snowman EVERY TIME!! Chance to get MCHAOS AND WHITE SCROLLS AND SOCKS AND GELT CHOCOLATES AND AND AND YUESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS -- LES .
