Doesn't the timer change mean that HT runners will be more inclined to not take level 155s into their runs?

Or that a new guild / HT group will not be able to run unless they're godly / higher level.

I feel like 2 hours for ht is really unfair for the classes with lower dpm.
Ht is the main boss that ppl run to make money, and therefore they try to go for 6 man runs. Up until now classes with lower dpm were able to participate and finish it in around 2 hours (maybe a bit less). With the 2 hours limit only the classes with the highest dpm will get chosen, leaving all the rest of us out.
It is very frustrating, as a shadower, to see a change like this one, that will eventually influence my ability in game (because less runs = less money = less gear = lower dpm = less runs and so on).
I would understand 4 hours limit or even 3 hours to prevent solo ht, but 2 hours feels extremely unfair.

 

I feel like a 2 hour time limit on ht is a little unfair to players just reaching ht level since now teams can't afford to bring as many lower levels or else they risk hitting the limit, which makes it harder for lower level players to get accepted into runs. Sure HT can be run by 30 players but realistically no one is bringing anywhere close to that except for some sort of meme run.

12 hours is way more than necessary but 2 is definitely too low. I feel like a 4 hour time limit to bring it in line with zak and the neo tokyo bosses would be more fair.

We just Ran the HT run... Took 1hour 58minutes. this was the party setup. These are the Resources I gave each Attacker

ThiefNL- 170 Nightlord 10 stoppers/2 apples/2 stews
Postcard-158 Bowmaster 10 stoppers/2 apples/2 stews
MeleeSmash- 183 Buccaneer 9 stoppers/1 apple + his own stoppers
ControlPanel-155 Shadower Used her own Stews
Eiji-200 DK around 25 stoppers/2 apples/2 stews
Prayzone-178 Bishop 1 Swiss Cheese (omegaLUL)

I would say it is possible, based off of resources. Yes, having higher level people would make a huge difference, but with more resources there shouldnt be a huge huge issue. This mostly affects 1 party runs. 2 party runs doesnt seem like will be affected as much, but it is true if 1 or more people DC/die on the run will cause the run to BARELY clear or fail. I understand 1 party runs gives more exp, BUT just because a 2 party run (doesnt mean it has to be 12 people). Break it down and go for 10 people? maybe 8 people? Resources used will be the main factor, unless you got S tier squad. Hope this doesnt discourage people on Horntail. (yes, this potentially means prices would go up since itll be "less clears in the future", this is beneficially for Attackers who do NOT have bishops to sell leech/farm and a consistant way to making mesos)

I do feel like Book drop rate should be buffed slightly, if the timer is going to be reduced. So its not demotivating when we arent getting anything from a "close run and using extra resources to burn".

 

You could also look at the horntail change the other way and say that it promotes 2 party runs over 1 party (since 2 party runs will have a faster clear time and much lower chance of failure).

I think 155s could be welcome on 2 party runs, but at that point it just means the boss becomes more of a means to gain exp over mesos, especially if you are using your own apples.

 

even 12 man runs, the exp isnt bad at all. Its sad if people decide to segregate High lvl attackers / low lvl attackers. so more ppl benefit from smaller party runs. Book drop rate increase should make it "worth to kill still" tbh
