Like I said in almost every patch post. I do think GMs have their reasons on making these changes.

The truth is, it's very difficult to make changes to any existing systems in-game without pissing off a lot of people. This doesn't just apply to MapleLegends, but in other games too. Most people don't like changes in their lives, and that's just human nature.

However, I also think GMs should give more context than just "here are the changes". Something like "here is WHY we decided to make these changes" could avoid a lot of unnecessary false assumptions. At the end, they are the ones with access to the back-end records.

We humen are smart. I am sure we'll make things work no matter how much Kim nerfed the game

 

TFW you can't find any goby in Aqua Road: Deep Sea Gorge II

 

Hi there, this will be my first patch since joining legends and have a couple questions:

What time is 9PM server time?

Does the client automatically download/patch files when I go to open the game? Or do I need to find the new files on the website and add them to my pc manually. I am running Windows.

But gobies was never a meso making place pre-bb so it isn't a nerf per se just a reorder of things. Always seemed weird to have 15-19x mages farming at a place meant for 80-120 training.
Meh, if everyone likes and plays for Nostalgia, then shouldn't be an issue as I'm sure something else will emerge!

 

All of you are talking about gobies being nerfed (and rightly so!), and here I am still wanting Castellan to get enabled.

 

Extremely curious because I really don't know, but was having multiple mules (hb,hs,mu, and etc) a thing pre-bb? Because if not there shouldn't be an issue if we somehow found a way to stop it.

People are always gonna complain no matter what. Remember last time they mentioned gobys being touched. Comments were crazy.

Maybe test out how much this really changes things before complaining. Im 100% sure the GMs have their reasons.

EDIT: honestly, I haven't yet even given gobies a try. Will give it a go and see how bad/how great it really is. :thumbs up:
