Completed Scheduled Maintenance November 20, 2019

Hello Maplers,

We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Wednesday, November 20. It will last approximately 1 hour. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

Time:
6 PM server time

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleLegends game servers and channels
• Merchants will be closed
• In-game name change requests using @changeign automatically processed

Changes and Updates:

• The initial start of the complete minigame re-code (Omok)*
• Halloween bug fixes and changes (will be announced during maintenance)
• Fixed a bug with Juliet side of MagatiaPQ
• Heaven Hammer will be 10 seconds again

*Started recently is the complete re-code of minigames. For a long time, Omok masters have asked for us to be more authentic with Omok.

We have already made a start, and we need people to test it once this restart is done. The following should be done already:

• Complete re-code of the 3x3 rule system: It should be 100% GMS-like now. Please let me know if the 3x3 rule still is inaccurate vs GMS, and mention in details what is wrong
• When clicking leave in the middle of a game, the proper message now appears in the chat
• When clicking leave a second time in the middle of a game, the proper message now appears in the chat
• When unable to place a piece due to 3x3 rule the proper message now appears in the chat, like in GMS, instead of 'cannot place that there'
• Undo system should no longer be buggy

The following still needs to be done:

• Complete the re-code of the point system. If anyone has any help on how the point system worked in GMS feel free to contribute it. We are trying to understand it based on the BMS-leak, but it's messy and confusing since videos on youtube are very conflicting and inconsistent
• A lot of polish and bug testing
• Match Cards

Lastly, I want to mention that this re-code is done by a second developer and not the main developer (being shot) We understand that minigames may not be the most important thing for everyone, but don't worry since other things are still being worked on too!
