Completed Scheduled Maintenance November 21, 2018

    This maintenance has an optional patch release. This patch has a few fixes with equips, a new client, as well as the Horntail spawn changes discussed in this thread. It's recommended to patch, but version checkers will not be updated.

    Hello Maplers,

    We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on November 21, 2018. It will last approximately 1 hour. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play!

    Time:
    6 PM server time

    What will be unavailable:
    • All MapleLegends game servers and channels
    • Merchants will be closed
    Changes and Updates:
    • Release of new boss: Krexel (Click here)
    • Fix attempt at Horntail disconnects warping you back to Leafre
    • Monster Book Cards with incorrect names should now show proper name once collected
    • Monster Book Cards from Zipangu should once again show a name once collected
    • End of the surprise vote event
    Patch changes
    • Different client protections: Feedback on performance is appreciated!
    • Big items should no longer get stuck after an avatar SMEGA
    • Fix on some Cash items (Thanks HiyoHiyo)
    • Horntail 'lag zone' have changed (see here for details) until a better fix is found
      *It's slightly lower than what the testers had
    • Krexel has visually a ladder that looks awful. It's removed in this patch like later versions

    Hola Maplers,

    Estaremos realizando un mantenimiento programado el 21 de Noviembre del 2018. La duración sera aproximadamente 1 hora. Luego de finalizar, el juego volverá a estar en linea y se restaurará el servicio.

    Hora:
    6 PM hora del servidor

    No estarán disponibles:
    • Los servidores de juego de MapleLegends
    • Las tiendas de Free Market serán cerradas
    Cambios y Actualizaciones:
    • Lanzamiento de nuevo jefe: Krexel (Click aqui)
    • Intento de arreglar que las desconexiones en Horntail te muevan a Leafre
    • Las cartas del Monster Book tienen que mostrar el nombre correcto cuando sean recogidas
    • Las cartas del Monster Book de Zipangu nuevamente muestran su nombre cuando son recogidas
    • Finaliza el evento sorpresa de votos
    Cambios del Parche
    • Se ha cambiado la protección del cliente: Las opiniones en cuanto al rendimiento serán apreciadas!
    • Los items grandes no se quedarán en la pantalla despues de un avatar SMEGA
    • Se arreglaron algunos items de la Cash Shop (Gracias HiyoHiyo)
    • La 'zona lag' de Horntail se ha cambiado (mira aquí los detalles) hasta que se encuentre una mejor solución
      *Está un poco mas abajo de donde la tenían los testers
    • Krexel tiene una escalera que se mira horrible. Ha sido removida en este parche como en las versiones posteriores

    Alright, some notes about Krexel

    - The EXP has been increased because its beyond garbage vanilla
    - Unfortunately Krexel is still a very easy boss, so we have no plans to make this boss meta.
    - Going to spots where he doesn't attack at all is seen as aggro abuse
    - Monster Book card currently drops from Krexel
    - You can do Krexel twice a day.
